I think Morrisons are one of the few doing the Eat out to help out every day, others are mainly monday to wednesday. You couldn't cook it at home for that price!

I went through my wardrobe to see what I wanted to declutter and I found my favourite black cardigan that I thought I had lost at a concert back in March! It was in the sleeve of a coat I must have been wearing that night. Very pleased.5

Oh yes. I also got my new album from the band The Killers sent in the post today. They delayed the release because of Covid so we paid for it ages ago!
I have also found a couple of meet-up groups that I will join later in the year. I'm waiting to see what happens with the pandemic this autumn before I meet up with people I don't know.2025 GOALS

my champagne moment s have been making chutney and jam and blackberry liquor. it’s really scrummy, and i think would be nice with some sparkling white wine, a bit like a kir but blackberrys instead of blackcurrent. hoping to use as christmas my pressies, so money saving...unless i drink it all before then 🤣🤣🍾🍾5

You can get Kir made with blackberries in France - you just have to ask for Kir avec mure! I used to prefer it to having the usual one with blackcurrants but far too sweet for me now I'm older!

We need to find a use for our glut of apples..... the first year after we bought the cottage we were too busy with restoration work to do anything with them so gave them to someone for their pigs and last year we had virtually none. This year's another bumper crop - we had intended to make some kind of beverage but once again have been caught up in other stuff
Love The Killers, Wednesday....will have to check that out!
Champagne moments here have been mostly indoor ones as the weather has been pants, so lots of making home-cooked meals and doing a spot of decorating. Yesterday we stumbled upon a lovely copper preserving pan (having bought a similar one for part of DS's birthday gift) for our kitchen for the bargain price of £15Plus I finally ordered the lampshades for our freebie lamp bases....can't wait for them to arrive!
Today, it's sunny so we're outside putting the finishing touches to the covered dining area which is going to look fab....and for minimum outlay too
No new garden pics as it's still rather windswept and soggy out there, so instead a couple of pics of the photobombing dog and her *brother*Mortgage-free for fourteen years!
