Me too....toe !!!!!!. Fab.Hello my lovely friends.Gorgeous Rose, Phoebe. I have real garden envy. Although actually my front garden is picking up nicely....finally got a bit of colour. Yesterday a neighbour said it was looking good.....I think he meant compared with how it was, rather than it being especially pretty. But still nice to know.I'm absolutely shattered today, I have been busy but dont ask me what I have achieved because the house just looks a mess. Still what's the old saying....."you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs". I did at least manage a tip run yesterday, It's a start.Wet, grey and murky here today. Still the garden is loving the rain. 😁5

I'm loving the pics. You are all inspiring me to get more flowers on the allotment and nip out for some new nail polish. I don't think I'll be posting photos though, my feet are striped from wearing sandals all summer.Grocery challenge 2025: £650/1500 annual budget5

Flowers and nail polish are such cheap and cheerful pick me ups.

My Champagne moments yesterday were mostly to do with my younger son coming to visit for the day. He spent hours with his sister and I and he had dinner with us.
I managed to get a peri peri spatchcock chicken reduced to £2.65 in Lidl, so I cooked that with stir fried veg and pilau rice for our dinner and it was delicious.
I went for my 1st Eat Out To Help Out meal yesterday at the Morrisons Cafe within the store in Peckham. I treated myself to fish, chips and green peas for the princely sum of £2.259
