I've done 2 Vodaphone 12 month contracts for 2 different handsets with Mobiles 2 Your Door (offshoot of Phones 4 U). Both cashbacks and the forst one gave 11 months cashback and I was able to go through Quidco. Basically cost zilch.

Just done same for my son, this 12 month contract is costing 3 months payments (as long as I claim the cashback)

Can I have more info on those deals, can't find them on the M2YD site, best I can find is 8 months free on a 12 month contract
  • I am a low user and have been with Virgin since I first had a mobile. However, I've started to use my phone a little more frequently and I'm wondering who is the cheapest provider. Also my dd is now after a phone - just for emergencies and so on - and I need to keep costs down. I don't want a contract.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Susan :)
  • I've been quite clever over the years, and getting some great deals with cashback sites etc etc but I need to know the following:

I'm currently with o2 but when my contract is at it's end the cost will go up to around £35 per month (I'm currently paying around £11). Now, there's no way I'll pay £35 for any mobile contract so what I was thinking is get my PAC code - move to PAYG for a week or so - then get my PAC code and potentially move back to o2 (if there's any great cashback deals at the time).

Would I be allowed to do this? I don't see any reason why not but just want to make sure.
  • I have Nokia N73 and want to change to Blackberry but don't need all the texts included in deals. I'm so confused by cashback, vouchers, contracts, how can I get the best deal on this product, including e-mail,internet, cross network minutes, and txts? Can anyone help please?

    Hi
What is the general opinion on Vodafones Nokia 5800 at £20 a month for 300 anytime mins and unlimited texts with £120 cashback via Quidco? It is a 2 year contract though?
This will be my 1st contract so would like any advise before signing the dotted line;)
    TIA

If you've got debts then get a cheap as possible pay as you go phone.....and then DON'T CALL ANYONE!!!

    Simples.

  • Quite happy with Tesco Mobile.
I top up with £10 and get £20 usage.
My daughter tops up with £15 and get £35 usage a month and now never uses her home phone.
  • Hi

Does anyone know of a UK tariff that allows you to use your inclusive minutes for calls to the Isle of Man?

    Thanks
  • Ref for toffeelady. I live on the Isle of Man and I doubt if you will get all inclusive as the IOM is classed as International (Overseas)for calls from the UK. We have Manx Pronto and Sure Mobile as our main Providers. Also the Isle of Man is not a Channel Island. We are in the irish sea so if you find a provider with free calls to the Channel islands it will not include the Isle of Man. The IOM is not part of the UK.
