Ahh thank you my potty friends, yes we are very very relieved, I didn't realise how much it was effecting us until I got off the phone, suddenly all this weight just left me and poor DH started to cry bless him so he had obviously been worrying a lot more than he was letting me know. (Will be keeping a much closer eye on him to make sure he doesn't bottle this stuff up again! I keep telling him, the money is my worry not his, he does the hands on stuff like shelf building and car fixing, I do the money things).
Thank you for your hugs Sue, DH and I will take them gladlywe had a very big relief filled hug ourselves after the phone call but you are always welcome to join in :rotfl: :grouphug:
I realised I got so carried away with my news I completely forgot to post how much I potted :rotfl: that is very unlike me! well it was definitely silver and an oddment of coins, thats about as much as I remember :rotfl:

Ah bless your DH, jakes-mum, it's sad when our fellas get really dragged down with all the worries. I can never switch my T off from money worries, bless him. He's such a craftsman too, but I think finances are bound to worry the men in our lives, it's in their nature.

Siju - I am so sorry for your loss. Virtual hugs coming your way.
jakes-mum - :j :j Great news for you and DH! What a massive weight being lifted off your shoulders. Do they give you an apology too? Or is that too much to expect?
Sorry for being MIA, but I haven't potted a thing recently - until now. The teeny tiny amount of money I was paid (having been overpaid) is a real struggle not to dip into my savings. I'm trying not to touch any of the overpayment/savings, hence this lack of potting. However, in trying to not dip into those savings, it does mean that I have earned a whopping £1.11 in interest last month. Duly popped into my SPC "pot". And then £11.27 from Top Cashback... And about £4 from DH's carelessness. So, none of my own, but all going on.
