Aww Thank you Deleted_User and Sue, Miss Lily had a lovely day (despite having to go to school :rotfl: ) was thoroughly spoilt and has put all her birthday money in her envelope for holiday spending
We took her out for dinner (as she informed us that this is mandatory when you have a birthday!) and then came home to spiderman cake
She's now tucked up and asleep in brand new pj's in her bed so she must have had a good day!
I have 50p in silver coins to be potted when I go up to bed, I seriously need more gold ones! my £1 and £2 coin tins still sound so very empty
Hopefully everyone is staying nice and warm, we will be trying not to venture out too much with the nasty cold weather coming in, i'm seriously tempted to stay in my bed! might stop the bones aching from the cold!SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

My car has actually been iced up on the inside this morning!
Eeeeeeeeeek I know this is not good
Need to look up ways to try and sort this out, bad enough having to scrape the outside of the car in the morning :rotfl:

I was so stressed when my old car iced up inside on the only time it has happened, it looked like it had snowed inside my car as I was in a hurry scraping it off :rotfl:0 -
Not good is it!
I had a wee google and apparently it could be a simple solution - clean my car and open the windows more often :rotfl:
We shall see!

Yes mine was because I used to get a little water come into my car near the glovebox sometimes, so the air must have been quite damp on a very cold night and it just iced over inside :rotfl: fingers crossed it doesn't happen again x0 -
I did a big clear out last Saturday and found a bunch of DVDs and games (plus my old Nintendo 3DS) which we decided to sell. Bagged £55 for the lot! The big notes will go into the bank but I'll note them in my signature to count towards the final totalSPC12 #055 - £339.40 | SPC13 #055 - £0

Very well done, Loz, and we'll look forward to next week's Haul!
It's lovely to know young Lily enjoyed her birthday, jakes-mum. Don't worry too much about the weather, we'll have had worse in our time, it's just a case of upping the heat and doing our best to keep safe when we need to go out. Doubtless, you will still be potting whatever the weather!!
Excellent work, Purplemumof2! It's good to see you more regularly now! :grinheartTake great care on the roads, everyone, and keep warm!!Deleted_User wrote: »My car has actually been iced up on the inside this morning!

Try putting a blanket over the windscreen, Dolly, it makes it so much easier for the mornings and will also stop the inside freezing! Also put a sock over each of you windscreen wipers, that too makes a huge difference.I'll PM this to you in case you're not on here.
Ooops! Not good is it SSDD23.
That's fantastic, Dreamworlded!!! :jIt's marvellous to be able to get cash for something not needed anymore!!
YAY Lifeisforliving!!! :dance:Nice work and it's surprising the difference such things can make to our day!!Have a lovely Friday, folks!! Pot whenever possible!! :j

Good evening!
Payroll have messed up my pay since I went back to part time from full time in November... It's being re-calibrated this month, but that means my next pay packet will be teeny tiny. I do manage to save money each month, but it means that next month (unless I dip into my savings) there will be minimal potting. Thankfully my trip to Dubai is all covered for Feb half term, but the little treats like erm, my hair cut, will be tight. Back to normal for the Feb pay day, I hope!
Anyway, I'm making hay whilst the sun shines. DH lost £1 from his jeans pocket, 90p potted from a coffee I didn't have out and my SW £5er is potted.
Since I had my dream about potting 10 x £2 coins (note the word DREAM!!!), I haven't seen one of them. Rats and blast!!
Have a good evening everyone.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0
