My Son has come into some money and as he knows how fed up I am with having my shopping delivered (food as well as other stuff) he has said he is learning to drive and will be my "taxi" to go wherever I want! but the icing on the cake is that he is buying a car within the next 2 weeks and will put it in my name so I can have it until he passes his test!!!:j
I am over the moon and back, at last I will be able to go to a supermarket and pick exactly what I want, this may sound silly but I've been without transport for over 4 years, although I'm 61 I cannot get a bus pass for another 5 years and the bus fares to my nearest supermarket costs £5.50 which is too much for me.
I will not have to pay insurance or tax//MOT etc as my Son says he will pay it for me.
I'm still on cloud 9 and will be for some time.
This means that I can draw out the cash each week for my food shopping and anything left over will go in my pot, at the moment I can only pot change from milk that I have to buy from the local shop.
Sorry for going on so but I had to tell someone!!!!:D;):D:D;)

As I will participate in the make £2019 in 2019 challenge, I am only popping loose change, £5 notes and roadkill into my SPC.
Through a combination of the above and as a latecomer, I'm pleased with my current pot total of £42.07, although I did spend an inordinate amount chasing down a 20p coin I lost in the living room!
I'm really curious what my total will be for the year which will be put toward my Xmas purchases.IO BTL1 Mortgage was £97,693.54 on 09/08/18; £83,140 on 31/12/19.Sealed Pot Challenge 12: #078: £150.36

Thankyou everyone and thanks for my number
I have some loose change in an unsealed pot so am off to count it and start my sealed pot. Do the 20ps from the 20p challenge get added to this total? Or the money from the 1p a day challenge?

Hi lynnsey30,
