Afternoon Potters
I've finally shaken off my horrible cold. We spent a lovely weekend in Port Meirion last weekend with DD and DSIL, plus MIL AND FIL - really magical, I expected Charles Dickens to appear at any moment! So much more my scene than the big city! Didn't spend too much - just a lovely new piece of pottery for the Christmas table (oh and a hat, because it rained!)
Not much cash spending happening at the moment, but I have managed to snaffle £4.05 for the pot today.Enjoy the rest of the week lovely Potters.

Very many thanks, Frogletina :staradmin and Dolly Rocker :staradmin super welcomes for which you've both earned a lovely gold star. BTW. Frogletina, did you see you have a new SPC No which is 063. As not many high numbered folk have come forward to fill in the gaps of those who haven't returned lower, I'm having to do it myself. Great work with the vouchers too!!!
Hi Sue, thanks for my new star. I did notice that I had a new lower number and I've set it up on my signature. Now to amend my signature again for the star - thank you

Hi everyone
Thanks Sue-UU for the new number.
Taking two of the dgc to Maccyd's after school this afternoon, much cheaper than the very expensive Santa and their mum is taking them this weekend somewhere a bit cheaper. to the dgc a treat at said place will be a really big treat as they are only allowed to go there about twice a year!!! I will sit there with a cup of coffee!
Been putting some small change into the pots, I think in a couple of months I will take it out and change it for notes (here's hoping!).

My pot is now up to £12.58 after adding in some spare change I had leftover from my day.
I got all my Christmas presents, and cards, I needed to buy so am now £100 down but I’m not close to my overdraft and am all sorted for Christmas so don’t feel too stressed out. I paid an extra £20 towards one of my credits cards though even though it’ll probably get swallowed up by interest.CC Debt:£450 Emergency Fund: £1,500 Sealed Pot Challenge 2020 #042: £750 -
Good evening fellow potters,
Well you have been all been busy... came back after a couple of days offline and loads of posts! Hope your all well.
Had some success with ebay, sold a dress for £30 i'd never worn and a few other odds and sods. While i wont draw the cash out to go in my pot (it goes into a joint fund to use on the house), it feels good to be clearing bits out the house and making some wonga on it. Also got a hog roast for christmas dinner at work tomorrow so no crisps or choc needed so i have duly potted the £1.40 i would have used along with some stray coinage that had fallen out in my works bag.
Enjoy your evening and happy pottingMFW 2019 No. 62 £10120/£10000; MFW 2018 No. 62 £3390/£2400
