Well done on your total Homegrown!Hi there jakes-mum and thank you. I hope this post finds your cold a lot drier than yesterday. Such miserable things for certain especially when described as you did!:( I thought your Lily would have loved Harley from the beginning, but as long as her fears gone now and she loves her company then that's wonderful.
Cold is still here and I've now kindly passed it to DH, I think I did well keeping it to myself for 10 days! his words to describe it is 'I feel like im hung over but I haven't had the enjoyment of getting drunk first'. :rotfl: i'm now happily reminding him that I've send 10 days cooking, taking him to the pub, going shopping etc feeling like that so he is not allowed to give in to it and go to bed with his man flu! :rotfl: I did give him some Lucozade though, so i'm not completely heartless.
Lily has been scared of dogs since she was a toddler, next doors dog managed to jump our fence when she was in the garden and jumped at her to play, she's been nervous ever since. This was one of the reasons we decided to finally get Harley, the same thing happened to my sister and she's still terrified of dogs and I didn't want the same thing to happen to Lil. She loves her dog though, they are best friends so i'm very happy
Don't think I posted about DH's cash from the pub, he came home on Saturday with £6.75 for the potwhat are we at now? 10 days to go? wooooooooo!

Just put £16 in £2 coins into the tin. Have also found a spare tin so I could in theory still open my tin at the usual time. I can't remember whether I said I was counting my eb*y sales as well, will have to look back. But there's also my Quidco total to add in although with my reduction in spending (yay!) that won't be as great this year either. In some ways good, in other ways not so good. But better in terms of discipline around spending, just not saving!SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

Evening
we are so so close nowMy plan for the 31st is to count up the change, then I will take it to the machine in the NatWiest Bank near my office on the Saturday after and put it in the twirly machine. I can drive there at weekends, and hopefully park right outside the bank. there is a money changing shop next door to the bank, so I will be going straight in there to change some of the potting into dollars
I have been running the change pig, a 'save the change' account and also a Chip savings account that I will be counting as my total this year, so hopefully it will be a good amount. I already know what's in the two on-line savings account, but the change pig will be a complete surprise.
So exciting. Keep going everyone.

Hi All
Just catching up as been off on holiday in the sun which was great but the trip home yesterday was a nightmare as our train got cancelled and hanging about train stations at 5am is not fun. Ending up getting home (hurray) nearly 3 hours later than expected but the good news is may be eligible for some money back from my train ticket.
Have £20 left which is going into my savings. Will do the total on 31st incase I can find some more pennies to add.
