I am away on Thursday for a little weekend break so hope to declare before I go, hope my counting is the same as my signature.

Looking forward to seeing all the figures come in and add up. Will we beat last years amount

Hello all

Can I join for next year? I have my pot ready, it's a pretty cardbox box that had makeup in it and I have sellotaped it shut quite thoroughly. I'm going to save whatever bits of change I have left everyday and have a think about what else I can add. I will try for a target of £100.

Exiting times indeed, siju! A lovely sum potted again! Just 2 more days left to pot. My hasn't the time flown by, especially recently. I look forward once again to seeing how much you've potted throughout the year. :money:

Getting excited! Been shopping today and only used my card so that the change in my purse will still be safely nestled in there come Thursday; Payday and Big Reveal Day :T. My bank balance may not be happy but my pot will be :j

I put another couple of coins into the jar, I had found when tidying up. My friend also gave me some coins as "she doesn't do spare change."

I would like to join for next year. I have already got my pot set up - I'm trying to decide whether to do it virtually, physically or both. I don't handle cash very often nowadays, doing all my groceries online and most of my shopping via debit card to get cashback (thank you halifax lol). For the time being I have a coffee tin on my window ledge and will be putting my spare change in there. I'm not sure I want to have a target.....will just be happy to have it as some spare spends for next Christmas Thanks for having me.

aimeemum, you can still save with your pot IF you want to take a certain amount from your account every week, month or whatever; you can even alter the amount so it'll still be a surprise at the end of the year. Have a read through the first post and see what you think.


You gave me a smile on reading what you've done to preserve your pot cash, Hetty. It won't be long now until it's empty and you're doing whatever you want with the innerds!! :j


It makes us SPCers wonder why on earth folk don't pot cash, eh indigowarrior - madness - unless she saved notes of course!

Afternoon,

Count up day is tomorrow and I am off work on holiday for two days I have been to the bank at lunchtime to get more money bags, so I am all prepared.

I am interested to see how much is in the demi-john as that is quite heavy. The terramundi I think is about a third full of £2 coins.
