Morning,
Only a couple of quid this week. I feel the potting has slowed recently so I am going to redouble my efforts in September.

Another £40.00 potted today so things are going well. I'm back at work tomorrow so I won't need too much cash so I potted it instead of having it around to spend on something silly;)
Planning to go to the beach on Sunday so will probably not be able to save much the rest of the week:pSealed Pot Challenge #126 :heart2: SPC 2019 £424.00

What a fabulous bank holiday weekend. DH and I decided to cut the hedges around our garden on Saturday, so needless to say, I could hardly walk on Sunday! Never mind, it's only once a year and the garden does look lovely now that they are done. Other than that, it was all about relaxing over the weekend... and packing! We are off on our holidays again tomorrow, sailing to France and driving to Monte Carlo. I've got a few pounds to pot today, but other than that, it's 'au revoir' for now and see you in September!SPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.830

Hello there SPCers!
At least the weather's a little more comfortable now.
Enjoy yourselves whatever the weather.
For those who are not well or who are low in spirits, take great care of yourselves. Get well soon and {{{{hugs}}}} from all the SPC family. :grinheart
So, another brilliant day for you all, Hetty. I'm really pleased you thoroughly enjoyed it, though a bit much with the ice creams AND fish and chips?!!!Just the recipe for a great day out and more memories made! :heartpuls
Great potting!
BTW. We spent the weekend with great friends, and, a Cornetto each on both days!!!:D:D:D
Hiya 32b3! So, another one liking the thought of Hetty's blackberry ice cream, sounds gorgeous!I hope you've enjoyed a relaxing weekend. Well done with the potting!!
Pleased to hear you've been having such a good time, Melody! I just love homemade bread, gorgeous when straight from the oven. Enough of that. Good potting!! :j
Excellent potting with your latest post!!!!! :T You did the right thing, well done you!!!
I hope you had a great day at the beach. All the very best now you're back at work.
Well done Bounty, at least you're realising that you need to step on the gas to get more out of it come October. Still, for now a couple of quid is way better than most!!!
Oh dear poor, siju, hedge cutting certainly takes its toll, that's why DH & I cut outs twice a year so it's not so bad.
Still, I hope you're feeling very much now and all prepared for your holiday!
I hope you have a really fantastic holiday, we'll both be away at the same time.:dance:
We're all off to N Devon on Saturday, all 10 of us and, hopefully, as normal we'll have a splendid time! At present DH has an awfully bad back, and has done since Sunday...but keeps saying "I'll be ok"! He'd better be or there'll be trouble!!
I'll see you the week after next, so take great care of yourselves, and....keep right on saving!!Have a really lovely week & weekend folks. :j and......don't forget those pots!!
Sue

I know Sue! My little Lily is nowhere near old enough to be going to secondary school! but those darned council people don't agree with me and are making me send her
Ahh our Harley, she's a little tinker, I now have a rather large hole in the corner of my garden where she seems to have decided she could dig to China and she has chewed up not 1 but 2 pairs of my shoes! can't be mad at her she's just too darned cute, and tbh mummy should be putting her shoes away if she doesn't want them chewed! :rotfl:
Won myself £5 on the thunderball on Friday :j into my pot it goes, have had to accept that tins will not be as full as previous years, too much going out this year plus the big 50th surprise (that I am still managing to keep to myself!) to pay for on the drip so someone doesn't notice the money going out the bank :rotfl:
Hellooooo to all new potters
Hope everyone who is on or is going on holiday has a fabby time, i'll just sit here in the house pretending not to be envious :rotfl:
Right off to pot me some lottery winningshave a lovely evening all

Just potted £1.20. Have some bread proving (hopefully) and I’m about to get a bean chilli going before Gardeners World. The rhubarb needs picking so will do that tomorrow for a crumble and my first tomato is ripe. Gone with plum shaped yellow one this year so hopefully nice. Freezer is looking a bit bare so bought some staples to make curries etc to fill it. Didn’t go over budget though.
