Potted £3.50. Went to a lovely surprise 50th birthday party last night and she really had no idea! A few of us shed a little tear; as she’s been my best friend since I was 10 I felt it was allowed :beer:SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)0

I’ve added £10 to my pot over the past few days.
Haven’t had the best weekend as a family member of mine kept being rude to everyone during a lunch for their birthday. I’d spent nearly £30 on travel there and their gift so I’m trying not feel resentful about it.
I’m hoping to have £150 by the end of the month and then I’ll bank it into my savings account as I don’t like having such a large amount of money in my room.
Hope everyone else has had a good weekend!CC Debt:£450 Emergency Fund: £1,500 Sealed Pot Challenge 2020 #042: £750 -
Few more coins into my pot. Needed to borrow £20 from it but replenished it. One coin I have none of in mine is £2 coins. Not had any in change.
On a slight plus, I now have an extra £3 in my pay each week due to the tax threshold increase. My pension payments have actually gone down because I was already paying out 5% on the amount you start paying for it has gone up. Hopefully this will mean more money to pot.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0 -
Morning All,
I hope everyone is well.
Another £5 into the pot last night.
Probably potted some that I haven't posted and not keeping a running total so all will be a surprise when opened.SPC No 119:j0 -
Potted 44p change from shopping. Not a great amount but I forgot (goodness knows how!) Easter hols start on Friday so I needed stuff for pack ups. The main challenge now is to keep it out of sight of my boy so he doesn’t eat it all before next Monday.
My pot is starting to feel heavy so I’ve constantly got half an eye open for a suitable container number 2 as I don’t think it will last through until the end of October. No idea how much is in there, hopefully it will be a LOVELY surprise :jSPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)0 -

I’ve only added £1.20 to my pot so far this week as all I’ve had to buy is some food shopping.
I felt a bit bad as 15p of it was someone else’s left behind change from the self service machine at the supermarket.CC Debt:£450 Emergency Fund: £1,500 Sealed Pot Challenge 2020 #042: £750 -
Evening pottersssssssssssss
Well today is DH's birthdayand his special birthday treat was driving to the airport to collect my parents from their 3 month holiday :rotfl: he was not impressed, especially when we went over yesterday to collect their car and found 1) the battery was flat as a pancake despite us having started it and moved it while they were away!, 2) that their trip switch had gone roughly 2 weeks before so the 2 freezers full of food had defrosted and we had to clear them out, clean them out and try and de-smell them
it was not pleasant! and 3) that the car had 1/8 of a tank of fuel to get DH to and from the airport so we had to fill it up for them :rotfl: Gotta love my parents
On the plus side, he was back by 4pm so DD and I took him out for a meal and then we had spiderman cake
In even worse news, I managed to fall down our stairs, I still have no idea how I did it and have spent the entire week with an arm that has changed from blue to black to green and now to yellow as I hit it on DH's stair lift rail and its literally bruised from the elbow right up to my thumb  no break though so could have been worse.
I have been potting away and know I have a £2 coin in my purse for the tin tonight as well as a bit of silver
DD is already on half term (ours seems to be rediculously early this year) so trying to keep her occupied whilst not letting her veg infront of a laptop for 2 weeks. Took her and her friend swimming today and because we and her friends mum have platinum memberships they both got to swim for free!So that was a nice surprise, so no doubt i'll be hounded on friday to take them again :rotfl:
Stay warm everyone as it really doesn't seem to know what its doing out there! zip up hoodie weather in the day and then its like arctic winds as soon as the sun goes down! I swear I had icicles hanging from me by the time we got to the car from the restaurant tonight!SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000
