I added £4 to my pot so am now up to £55. It would have been £9 but one of my friends at work is leaving so I used my £5 note to cover some of her leaving gift.

Potted £2.50. They had a collection at work for my leaving and gave me the cash so there was £2.50 loose change in it which I’ve potted. I’ve no idea what to spend the rest on so another holding pot has been created. Strange isn’t it that when you don’t have any spare money you can think of loads of things you would like to get but now my mind is a blank.

They also got me a peony tuber which I’ll have to “pot” this week as my other one is already coming through in the garden. I just so happen to have a large empty ceramic pot that needs filling (the acer that was in it went into the garden last autumn). I sound like I have a garden full of empty pots but there are plants as well! :D

Hello there Potters! :hello:I hope you've enjoyed a lovely week, though what wicked winds! Our eldest Granddaughter, her DH and their darling little boy picked a right week to go on holiday!!
For those who are unwell or who are low in spirits, take great care of yourselves. Get well soon and {{{{hugs}}}} from all the SPC family.

It would be great to hear more from you, Homegrown, but we do understand that life gets in the way just a little! As long as you keep the potting up we're happy. Ah lovely to see you back so quickly (re your latest post) and excellent saving! :D

Hello Hicksy! Glad you are alright now. You give money to park your car?! Only joking as I know it's difficult not to. I'm pleased all's well and you're saving whenever possible.

Ah, I see I've given you some food for thought eh, jakes-mum, I dread to think what he'll end up with! :rotfl:Fantastic potting by the way!!!! :j

Not to worry, Saving Glut, as long as it's now in your pot that's all that matters.

Another one not having time for us then eh, Robin?! ;) Not to worry as I'm sure you too will keep potting.

Blooming storms eh, siju, I shall be so pleased when Monday comes so we can have a more peaceful week. I don't mind the elements but it's the damage and harm of the wind that's such a worry. Well done with whatever you're able to pot!! :D

How kind of your work mates, Hettyhound. I thought you were very wise in potting the bulk of what they've given you in a holding pot until you work out what to do with it. It'll be nice to have the peony as a fond reminder of them all.
I've got loads of pots with nothing in them, a friend of mine has a greenhouse nearly full of them, nothing else, but then she does have another 2 greenhouses! :(

Well, that's the shopping done and ...another £15 in the pot as a result!!

    Enjoy a smashing weekend, folks!!!
BE CAREFUL OF THAT WEATHER!! :naughty:

    Sue

NB folks: Opening date for SPC 12 will be 31st October 2019

Anyone wishing to join us, it's NEVER too late, so please just ask, you'll be made very welcome!

    Evening everyone!

Been lurking, and still potting quietly away. Just £1 from this week's shopping, but found 6p on the ground, so I've picked that up and its now in the pot too.
