Hello there Potters! I hope you all had a really lovely weekend and enjoyed it to the full. If you enjoy the week ahead half as much you'll be doing well! :D Take great care in the awful weather forecast!!!
For those who are not well or who are low in spirits, take great care of yourselves. Get well soon and {{{{hugs}}}} from all the SPC family. :grinheart

Many thanks, Moneybutterfly, it certainly left me very weak.
It gives us a lot of hope when our pots get heavier and heavier...! Well done with the £1pot too!! :j

It sounds very much like a devil and the deep blue sea situation, Frogletina, poor chap. From what I've heard over the past few months they expect people to survive on a pittance! You must be a Godsend to him, bless you. I hope he allows himself plenty of rest when he's able.

Thanks so very much, 32b3, I'm gradually getting stronger. Thanks for the words about the money potted, though I'm sure if I'd been with DH I would have squeezed another £5er out of his wallet!!! :rotfl: Good going with your potting too!

Thanks a lot, Kerfuffle, it really took it out of me, but I'm definitely getting better. :)

Many thanks, Saving Glut. You make it sound as though you're getting cash here there and everywhere! :rotfl:You'd just as well have relinquished that money sooner!! I'm sure one of these days they'll produce a pot that threatens us all if it sees us with money!! 👺 "You have MONEY, give it to MEEEEEE".

Sorry to hear you too have felt so rough, jakes-mum, get well soon! :(
As if any of us Potters would pinch your £2 coins!!! 👀 NEVER!

I can just imagine you with giving the tooth fairy money, a bit like prising money from someone with lockjaw! :rotfl:
So pleased you've been given all your ESA money and some has gone in your pot!!!

I went and got my euros today for my holiday in July so my savings have depleted by £150 but I thought it was better to get them now just incase the exchange rate tanks. It does also mean that I can now put any spare cash towards my credit card/savings account as I now won’t need to set aside holiday spends each month.

Well done with whatever you put in your pot, Loz!! :D It's all saved and safe. Don't forget to pop the amount you changed into Euros on your siggy and include it with your declaration! Who knows what the exchange rate is going to do post Brexit...or anything else too for that matter!!

An excellent sum saved, Whatshername!!! :j

Good luck with your Mogo, Choccygirl!! Well done with your surveys, your SPC bank account too!!!
Have a really lovely Monday, folks,Tuesday too!!!
BE CAREFUL OF THE WEATHER!! :naughty:

    Hi everyone

Hope everyone's been well. The wind and rain is playing havoc with my garden pots :( Had to buy replacement plants and pots, so eaten into some of my potting but still managed to pot £27.91 since I was last here :j:j
Hopefully this is the last week of the bad windy weather!!

Hmmm me thinks you is fibbing over my £2 coins . . . :rotfl: I'm getting there health wise just got to be very regimented about how much I do as one teeny tiny toe over what my body finds acceptable sticks me straight back in bed and I HATE being stuck in bed . . unless its bed time in which case you got no hope of getting me out! Already told DH is the house catches fire in the night he better be ready to either 1) put it out or 2) carry me and the bed downstairs and out the house.

Have spent my time keeping my mind off feeling rubbish but making my own clothes! I am now the proud owner of 2 homemade tops and 3 pairs of homemade undies! I have already happily paraded round the town in my homemade She-Ra top, and I don't care how many people think i'm odd sporting a 1980's kids tv show all over the top half of me! She-Ra kicked major buttocks and was only second in my heart to He-Man (yes I am looking for He-man fabric to make a matching He-Man top :rotfl: ). Next on my list is some undies for DH and DD and then its on to my tshirt patterns :D

No pennies for the pot yet as ESA are being majorly slow paying the second half, hopefully it will appear tomorrow, until then I will just enjoy my 2 brand new suitcases that got delivered today! spoilt myself with 2 x Tripp cases for the upcoming big family holiday! Now just to tart them up with some embroidered luggage tags and a bit of vinyl (Himself already said I can't put She-Ra on them :( So mean)

    Morning everyone,

I’m exhausted and skint and only half way through the month! I have potted £2.09 today which was some loose change left from shopping (£15.91 this week!) plus a £2 coin to recompense for TFairy-gate; I have sneaked off the naughty step now.

Expensive weekend as boy’s birthday but that was allowed for but what I hadn’t accounted for was school photo payment and comic relief contribution on Friday. Luckily he hasn’t been invited to the latest birthday party doing the rounds; sorry if that sounds harsh. I’m getting a bit fed up with all the presents I’m expected to buy and the last party he went to we never even got a thank you for the present  not even the “modern way” of sending a text round everyone. Maybe I am just old fashioned and have turned into a grumpy old woman (yes, that’s definately true :rotfl:) but I’ve got thank you cards ready for posting for his presents.

Finish my old job on Friday and start new on Monday  slightly apprehensive but paydays should cheer me up :D

My pot is now upto £51 and as I took the £150 out of my emergency fund I’ve changed my signature.

I’m next due money into my bank account next week so probably won’t be potting anything else this week.

Such a shame about your potted plants, weenapoops, is it possible to find a place in your garden which is more sheltered when the weather's like this? :( I have to with mine. Well done with all you've managed to pot!!! Hopefully, this is it for now with the really strong wind/gales.

Hello there Potters! I hope you've enjoyed a good, though extremely windy Wednesday, and have a lovely evening, a good Thursday too. Take great care in the awful weather forecast!!!

Not to worry about your leave of absence, Salesharky, at least you're still potting!!! :D

Now would I lie to you about those precious £2ers, jakes-mum???! 🤣 That's right, of course not!!
I'm pleased you're feeling better now and understand how quick it would be to slip back, so take care of yourself!!
Well done with all you've made, but aren't you making any pants for DD??!!!!! I can imagine his face on seeing a pair especially for him!!!! :rotfl:

Oh dear, poor you, Hettyhound! It's ok so don't think you're alone. When DH & I were a fair bit younger with our kiddies at school, I used to dread their friends' birthdays coming round; all the hunting around for gifts that they probably wouldn't want or appreciate - and never got a thank you for either!

Well done with what you managed to pot!!
All the very best with your new job Hetty!!

We done with what you've saved, Loz!!! :D

Have a really lovely evening, folks,Thusday too!!!

Quick pop in today :D £102 in the pot today! £62 in £2 coins and £40 in £1 coins :D

Ha ha ha Sue, I may yet make DS some pants, I have found a fabric site that makes some rather . . . interesting fabric, depicting many of DS's (and DH's) favourite words :rotfl: Some, mummy is not so keen on but DS would find them hilarious :rotfl:
