I have come to beg forgiveness from all the £2ers. I am sorry but I've just swapped 2 x £2 coins for 4 x £1 coins; please will you forgive me? I have been forced into it by the Tooth Fairy... We have more wobbly teeth and unless the tooth rate was going up to £2 per tooth (!) a tooth fairy holding pot is required pretty sharpish.

Fingers crossed she won't visit until after tomorrow's school photos but I felt the need to make a "pre tooth fairy visit" unsealed pot; the last one came out when eating tea unexpectedly hence the going rate of £1 as that's all that was in the fairy's purse at the time! :rotfl:

Goodness me Hettyhound! I'm not sure the Tooth Fairy can afford £2 per tooth so I'm sure you've done the right thing. :rotfl:

Had a crazy work week last week and didn't manage to pot anything apart from 5p which I found on the office floor when we moved out. Just looked in my purse and only found another 4p in there. Really, I must do better. :(

Hugs to all that need them. See you later in the week folks. :j

£1.37 potted today; tooth fairy pot still intact but we are good to go for the next 4 visits. Thankfully we have made it past the school photos with both front teeth still in place. It’s his birthday on Sunday so not the cheapest weekend. I am however looking on the bright side, more change to pot :j

Aw, kiddies are an expensive business Hettyhound! I count my lucky stars that both mine are grown and independent now, but I remember the days when there seemed to be a constant stream of money demands...........

Happily, I have spent some cash and now have £3.51 to pot today. Have a lovely weekend Potters:)

More potting today now at £108 in the jar. That's quite scary. It's over £100 that I would have just frittered away previously. I still have £48.21 left in spends bank account, £15 of which is not specifically allocated. Rest is allocated to takeaway and taxis.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

I’ve added a £5 note and some more coins to my pot so am now upto £34.

I don’t think I’ll be able to add much more until payday now as I’m already near my overdraft and have bills that will go out in the next week. I haven’t done any overtime this month but the £90 bonus I’ll get makes up for that so I’m trying not to feel down about never seeming to have any money lol. I’ve agreed to do some overtime this weekend and next so now I won’t have to work any extra shifts in April as it’ll get added onto that payslip.

I hope everyone else is doing okay!
