BWLegal add on £4500 for 23 parking tickets and harassed a nurse daily

and how this nurse dare park in a permit only car park, she should be hanged without delay surely????
Hanging seems a bit drastic, but she does appear to be solely responsible for her problems.
At least she can park at work some of the time. When I worked in Westminster, parking was nigh on impossible.
That comment was a poor attempt by me at sarcasm, something I'm not very familiar with, having said that I accept she has caused this problem herself but surely everyone can agree she does not deserve the 'punishment' she is getting and certainly not the amount of harassment by scummy BW lying legal.
Imagine if this Nurse was married to some hotshot Barrister I doubt this article would have even been written as I said on another post BW lying legal would get rinsed!!0 -
It's always a shame when we see how few people understand this unregulated scam, and just ignore PCNs.
If only the nurse had come here, forbidding signs and all.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

I think "the Deep" should have a "word" with some of the old boys in MI5 and get this "sorted"0

Don't get confused here, when The Deep said about going to Westminster, he meant working in that "barsucks" coffee place at the end of Westminster bridge. It's where all government deals are done0 -
Thinking about that Daily Mail article, we know that often, the paper never tells the complete story.
For the paper to state that the High court has apologised to the nurse is a very bold statement and maybe there is something we are not being told here
BWLegal have the answer and given the aggressive animal style approach in general they have, I am sure this will not be the last we hear .... they rubbished BWLegal more than we do0 -
Having read the DM article, I must say that little of it makes much sense. High Court apologising? For what? Where did that come from?
Well, quite.
When I saw the headline I assumed it was a story about nurses and parking at hospitals. In a way The Mail has shot itself in the foot (no tears shed here) - I suspect they thought it was an easy win - poor nurse being hounded by evil parking firm/solicitors with nice pictures of her in her uniform and with her kid but looks like from the comments that their reader base does not agree. I wonder if they would have run this story if the lady concerned was, say, a civil servant. Shoddy journalism and even I can see the inaccuracies.
Not sure how I feel about this. Certainly BWL were more than OTT but she is an admitted serial offender.0 -
Of course you are right Neil and the nurse should never had done that.
The most interesting part that the paper stated was about BWLegal
If that was not true, guess the aggressive BWL will act as it does make them look pretty stupid0 -

I just cant believe how people can think the parking scammers are right??? and how this nurse dare park in a permit only car park, she should be hanged without delay surely????
I can only put it down to a distinct lack of intelligence that makes people think the way they do
Weeeeel
I think what the general public might think is that :-
This lady admits to having parked somewhere she shouldn't on at least 23 occasions. She admits to knowing what she was doing and accepts that she was wrong. She ignored all the correspondence and, only now, via The Daily Mail sob story, is facing up to what she has done. And she is playing the nurse card - even you have said "this nurse". While we all love nurses (my mum was one) it doesn't give them carte blanche to do stuff like this.
Whether or not the parking company/solicitors are evil scammers they will think she is "bang to rights" and will have little sympathy. In all honesty, I can't think of anyone I know who wouldn't share that view on what we know. I agree with Umkomaas and C_M, though, that the story, as it stands, has a lot of holes in it.
They might also look at this forum and wonder about whether or not it is right that she could have got off on a "technicality" like the wrong signage.0 -
We all agree that the nurse was wrong and I don't think this should thread should go on and on about it. WE ALL AGREE
What is going to be the most interesting point is how BWLegal will handle this
Whether or not if its true is irrelevant, the paper has printed a fact that will be read by tens of thousands of people
Whilst we all think that BWLegal should be kicked out of the SRA. it will be of great interest to see how this story will progress0 -
It's all about the greater evil, which is clearly the parking industry and robo claims firms.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
