Evening everyone I made around £6.55 today I am just awaiting some free bets being credited

I am currently sitting at 99% of my target total however I am awaiting a free bet being credited which means by then I will have hit 100% of my target :D

    Mortgage Amount Outstanding £116,682.20
    2025 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #49 £1401.29/£1,250 (104.74%/100.00%)
  • Been a bit of a lurker on this thread since the beginning of the month, but privately been trying to see what I can achieve. Had a good start to the month but's it's slowed down a bit now so listed a few items to sell & will start on the surveys for the last week

Delivering yellow pages £81 (not totally worth it has had a route with excessively long drives so took me ages and destroyed my feet/legs but any extra cash is welcome)
Mystery shopping £10 (1 visit enquiring a change phone provider)
Food sampling £10 (1 session trying sausages & pizza)
Quidco £75 (account had becoming dormant as not been on for that long so reactivated and withdrew cash)
Swagbucks £10 (again not been on for ages so applied for amazon voucher with points I had)

    Total so far £186

Also received £120 into joint account for insurance compensation for flight that was delayed in the summer (not counting that in total as filled out forms ages ago & only half of it is mine)

Doing this has made me much more money conscious in other areas, expanses have been claimed twice this month totalling over £300, where often I forget to them or do that infrequently that I miss off/forget about small things I've bought or short journeys

 Diana_B, Welcome to the challenge.

Look out for the link to December's new thread that shariann will post at the end of the month. If you want to take part just post your hoped for target and Kantankrus Mare will add you to the challenger list.

Nice to see a fellow Yellow Pages deliverer:beer:. I've done it for about 15 years but living in a rural area I end up having to drive a long way between farms and little clumps of houses. I used to dread what some of those farm tracks were doing to the suspension of my car especially when I was well-loaded with the books:eek:. Plus, the driveways of a lot of the big houses are really long too so I empathise with your feet:eek:. It was never really all that cost-effective but the 'regulars' became friends over the years and at least it was good free exercise in the fresh air:). They pay extra mileage allowance for the rural routes but it went nowhere near covering the cost. OH thought I was mad for doing it but I'm really sad that YP is not going to be printed any more and this year's edition is the very last. End of an era:(

No. it was Lloyds but I've just read on a different thread I visit a lot that someone today has just received 2 refunds from Barclays for unfair treatment. Looks like a lot of the big banks are reviewing their former practices;). I'll keep my fingers crossed for you:beer:

I am on a debt group on faceache and seeing a lot of posts from people saying is it real? receiving letters from banks and credit cards saying sorry we didn't do this, that or the other properly. Here is some compensation and other stuff.

there has been a big shake up in the banking and credit card world. I need to look into it when I have a minute to discover what has happened.
