Thanks Bubbs, but I need to remember that I booked holiday last week, so that is over a fortnight, with three biggish evenings out, so will take it quite happily

Hi, Gang, sorry I've been MIA. I haven't read back - yet.
Last Monday DD went back to work after mat leave and I have a beautiful 8 month old baby girl to look after on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I also pick up her brother from school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am still at the very disorganised stage; well I have to WATCH the baby, don't I?

Last week I put on the 1.4lbs I took off the week before!!! Yesterday I lost 1.2lbs.

I'll try posting my menus again.

Breakfast: B fruit & fibre, blueberries & ff Greek style natural yogurt
Lunch: A + 8syns macaroni cheese, tomatoes, syboes & beetroot, banana
    Snack: Tunnock's Teacake (5.5 syns)
Dinner: gammon steak, SW chips, dry fried eggs, broccoli (I know - there should be more veg, but time got away from me), Light & Free lemon yogurt (0.5 syn)
Snack: 2 ginger snaps (4 syns)

And here it is in glorious technicolour. I wish that T cake was to scale!

This took me 3 syns over, but I had the single portion of mac 'n' cheese needing to be used up.

Hoping to see you all tomorrow!

    Morning!

Much of the same for me today,

B - 2 egg omelette, bacon, 40g light cheddar, mushrooms and onion, and a handful of blueberries (HEA)
    L - Pasta Bolognese
D - Going to have a go at SW cajun chicken pasta, with baby corn and long stem broccoli.
Snack - an Alpen Light Double Chocolate and a Choc Orange HiFi (HEB)

So should be a Zero Syns day!

I really like the Double Choc Alpen Light Bars, I'm not usually a chocolate eater but they're really tasty if you haven't tried them. Our local Morrisons had them at £1 for a box of 5 this week.
You can have results or excuses, but not both.
Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

Good to see you posting again Greentiger. You'll soon get yourself organised again once you get into a routine. Menu planning can be a really big help!

Why are you cutting the syns back to ZERO fatrab? It's not a good idea unless of course you're planning a big day out and want to bank them for then! I like the double choc Alpen Light bars occasionally too but DH doesn't so I don't buy them very often but I'm going to Morrries on Thursday to get some bits so I may well pick up a couple of boxes!

I started doing my menu plan for December (and 1 January - my last day before holiday!). Have planned in most of the dinners and some breakfasts and lunches using stuff I have in stock - either in the cupboard or freezers so hopefully should make the shopping a bit cheaper before going away. I'll be clearing some space in my outside freezer so that I can move anything left in my fridge/freezer in the kitchen as that needs to be moved so the builder can come in and do the kitchen - assuming of course that his price is OK. DH is going to ring him today and chase him up on the quote - thought we'd of had it by now, it's been well over a month! Beginning to think he doesn't want the job but just want to know one way or the other!

Got to go for now as I'm making some soup for the lunch and the timer's just going off. Menu plan later.

    Denise
