Getting fed up with the rain! Doesn't seem to have been dry for ages. I think DH and I took up walking regularly at the wrong time of year! I hate walking in the rain.

Need to go out shopping this morning as need a couple of bits for tonight's dinner - DH has eaten all the olives and I need some tonight so will do it all today rather than tomorrow (although I'll still need to pop into Mr Ts as I've run out of red wine stockpots!).

    Today's plan:

B - bacon, egg, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes
    L - tuna & cucumber sandwich
D - Mediterrean chicken. Not sure what we'll have with it yet but I've got potatoes, rice, pasta, couscous etc so I can decide when I start cooking it!

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - a few in dinner but need to work out how many but shouldn't be more than 5 I don't think

First time in a very long time that I've missed two weigh-ins, both in a row. Not quite myself at the moment. Luckily, my weight is stable :)

    Hope everyone is well -

Tweets - just be gently with yourself - it's early days but remember she'll always be with you.

Beanielou - glad to hear last Friday went well

Bubbs - glad the hospital appt went sort of well

Kathrynha - well done you !

Haven't been around much (was hoping to get to target this week as we're away next weekend so me getting to target before Christmas seems like a pipe dream) but we went to the theatre with friends last Friday and although I was good and was the designated driver and had pasta beforehand for some reason it has all gone to pot....the buffet yesterday following son's passing out ceremony didn't help though!

I have tried to be good since the weekend - beef stew on Monday and we had a stir fry yesterday .

Hubby's going out tonight so I've got a rogan josh from Aldi which I'll have with a jacket potato and maybe some broccoli so that will be relatively on plan lol

As he's going out it also means I can watch the tv in bed which is quite handy as I don't pick that way, as well as being toasty warm!

Fatrab - where did you get the recipe for the Garlic Chilli Chicken ? Sounds right up my street.

I got it from one of the members at group:

    4 chicken breasts chopped up
2 tsp lazy garlic (I use real garlic)
    1 tsp lazy ginger
    2 tsp turmeric
    1 tsp chilli flakes
    2 tbsp curry powder
    salt & pepper to taste
    chicken stock cube/melt
tin toms & pasatta to required consistency
chopped chillies (as many as you want for desired heat)
    Onions
Add whatever speed/extras you want (I add mushrooms and chilli powder)

Fry the onions and spices (with frylight)
    Add chicken and everything else
Simmer until it thickens and the chicken is cooked through

    Simple! :)
