Sorry for been AWOL again. Between me and my daughter I have spent a lot of time at the hospital this week. Weigh in tonight. Expecting another gain (although star week so owt can happen), but mentally planning my SW restart, with going to the new member talk, and rereading all the books and stuff, so whatever the scales say tonight, it will be a new start.

Well done Kathryn on deciding on a new start. It can be helpful when things are getting too much. So sorry you've had so much time spent at the hospital recently. I think planning is key when so much is going on with lots of batch cooking. Good luck with the new start - you can do it.

Managed to keep Syns low yesterday. Now to do the same again today!

Today is going to be a Green day:

B - stuffed mushroom - stuffed with wholewheat couscous; spring onions, chopped tomato, the chopped mushroom stalk and anything else I can find int he fridge which will cook quickly!
L - HM leek & potato soup; bread (HEB1); may also make a rice pudding although it'll be with skimmed milk rather than my usual almond milk unless I can get some when I pop out this morning (HEA2)
D - Veggie biriani from freezer; followed by fruit & natural Skyr. May have a mini meringue as well (1 syn)

Will have a couple of hifi bars for 2nd HEB

    HEA1 - milk for tea
HEA2 - milk for rice pudding
    HEB1 - bread
    HEB2 - hifi bars
    Syns - mini meringue 1

Hope tonight goes well kathrynha. It'll be good to be newly up to speed on the plan (no pun intended;)). I wonder how much different we'll find it after Christmas.

I'm out tonight for a pub meal. I just checked the menu and fortunately hasn't changed since I was there last in September so food will be low syn. I will be having a couple of drinks though. So doing my best to maintain until the next meal out on Saturday (and Sunday and Monday). I think this lurching from one social occasion to another is going to be a bit of a pattern until January.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk, raspberries and pear
L: bacon, fried egg, tomatoes, mushrooms, spring onions and melon if I'm hungry enough
D: steak, salad, tomato and new potatoes
Syns: syrup 2.5, salad dressing, wine syns

Is that your first gain fatrab? At least you know why.:)
Yes, I had a STS in week 3 back in September but this is the first gain in 12 weeks with SW. I've always had an "off-day" at weekends where I've maybe eaten out or gone for a drink, but I'd made up for it through the week and stuck to the plan religiously for at least 5 or 6 days and saved my syns for that one day.

Now that I'm down to a weight that is closer to where I should be for my height it's going to be a lot harder to make up for any blips. I'm determined to get down to 14st by Xmas. 12.5lbs and 5 weeks to go so it's not going to be easy.
