Thanks for the well wishes! It all went well other than the trains making me late  they seem like a nice enough bunch which is the main thing.
Today was a spend day as I got the train in, also bought lunch out with a few of the team (not a regular occurrence for me but thought I'd do it as a treat on day one). Also been really naughty and bought a new bed this evening  I slept on the sofa last night and my back hasn't felt so good in ages, so I figured enough is enough and just took the plunge. OH and I are going halves, £250 each, I used my cc and will pay off £100 now and the rest over the next month or so. But until the bed arrives it's back to the sofa for me at night!
Finally set the schedule for the heating as it's actually cold now. Hadn't really had it on prior to the last week or so.

Hello everyone
Quick check in as on my phone.
Sunday was NSD 6 so that was good. Broke my NSD today buying a £1 chocolate bar at physio! Although did get 4 bags of food for free on a fb site!so that'll keep me going for a bit and should keep me out of my OD for a little white. Lots of herbs and bits OOD but don't think they're the sort of things that go off and the food bank won't take them.
Woke up to a text saying my card had been cloned but luckily all transactions were declined!
Have sold a few bits on fb the last few days and made £16! Got someone coming in the morning to collect my old photograph lights. Sold them for £150 which is sad coz they cost me over £500 new but that sort of stuff is so cheap to get now and obviously will be cheaper second hand. Not sure yet if I'm gonna use all the money to pay off my cc or to use some for my son's birthday food and some for Xmas presents and put £50 in my cc and anything else that I sell.
Had an energy drink this evening and now am wide awake! Well done chocolate lover haha.
Anyway hope you're all good and sending love and hugs to you all.

Hi everyone
NSD for me yesterday and paid off my overdraft which I'm very happy about. By next month the debt should be gone.
I am super sleepy from lack of sleep at the weekend so haven't made any progress with Spanish.Annoyed with myself but going to start again, and have a chilled weekend coming. At least it wasnt spendy.
Managed a 20 min run last night before falling into bed at 9pm.
I feel like my life is all about work at the moment, but keep telling myself that it will be worth it when I have 3 weeks off for Christmas and the whole summer next year to myself. Just need to keep plodding.
have a great week turtles

Morning all! I actually had a decent night's sleep last night, according to my trusty sleep app I was in deep sleep for most of it and sleep quality was 100%:A. I've been at around 75% for the last week. I'm crediting the extra quilt I put on the bed, I do like a bit of weight on my covers.
NSD 8 yesterday (it was a close thing as I had cash in my purse and really wanted to buy a treat). Should be 9 today. Budget still looking OK but I know I have a few extra expenses to come out after payday so I need to be good.
Love the idea of portable rainbows Mothernerd - will think on what I can use.0 -

Oh I know. We've got friends with horses and DD, despite only being 4, knows they're expensive, hence wanting to get a job to pay for it :rotfl::money:. She'll only get a few not to be taken up as a regular thing.
Started a toy clear out yesterday. Gave a big box of Mega Blocks to a colleague as both are old enough now for the small lego and got one black bin back full of plastic tat removed. None of which is really sellable (magazine toys, the kinds of quick emergency birthday gifts from nursery mates, Lidl stickies, etc).
SFD today and probably just a walk/jog in the gym as I'm loaded with the cold but would like to move.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

Good morning Turtles,
Mothernerd I love the rainbow idea. I think finding joy in the little things is so important. I lost my best friend 8 years ago & I lost all joy in the small things, I didn't see the point in them. Appreciating bubbles baths, good books, kicking leaves with my children, those things mean, for me , that I'm mentally in a good place.
Today is NSD #13. I need to get to 16 this week if I'm to hit target.
Organise-- I am still keeping up with my early mornings, Today I have a Drs appointment so I start work slightly later too & my whole house is clean, clothes & lunches sorted for tomorrow. All I need to do when I get home is clean the chickens/ bath the kids. :j My days go better when I am prepared for the day ahead. I dont feel as stresses and overwhelmed, which is another thing that is good for my mental health.
Dinner for tomorrow is more leftovers.
Now- need to make better food choices.
Enjoy-- saving toilet roll holders for crafts with my boys:D0 -
Lagom/ Inspiration later - nothing much moving today. I can hear my knees, not sure if that's good or bad - may be the 'oil' type stuff squidging around to help them move more freely. Right side from my neck to my wrist is bad - trying to type just using my left hand, another skill to work on.
Hip also aching, still feels strange - we forgot to say happy birthday to my hip, it was 4 on the 13th (need to add crematorium visit to the list as it was dad's anniversary on the 8th). Going to the cemetery with mum after the next Hospital appointment in the 'most of the way to Manchester' hospital - think we are doing something with aeroplanes in between, to keep the driver's 2yo son happy but I'm the only one who goes to the crematorium (dad isn't there but his name is in the book of remembrance and one set of auntie and uncle are buried there - uncle picked it because he could walk up the old railway line when he wanted to talk to his wife and joined her 10 years later).
I also have a new social outing. DS1's in laws are over from Greece and I have been invited to join them for a meal. I knew they were coming this month but not when. Agreed then the details came and it's Japanese - so will be a new experience (and I am going to enjoy it, made my mind up).
I am wondering if I can suggest bringing Beloved. It would make sense to take DS3 but he's not fond of Japanese food (loves almost everything else Japanese) but Beloved loves it and I don't think she has met my d-i-l (Beloved is DS3's Beloved and my daughter-out-law and mother to my 3 grand chinchillas). Will ask Beloved first as she might be overwhelmed by the whole idea.
Saturday is mum's church Christmas fair so cake making is on the agenda (small snowmen have already been constructed - small but much bigger than last years). Of course I am not allowed to know what we are doing (I am sure we bought a unicorn and a mermaid cutter when we went to the L*kel*nd shop but couldn't find them the other day - I had planned to make a slab cake in my biggest tin and turn up with a tray of decorated cut outs.
I have already bought all the fruit cake ingredients but as far as I know they haven't been made. I suspect they are too much for mum but she will not admit it. I did suggest just making a small one for her friend and making the rest of the mixture up in my loaf tins, decorating them simply and then selling them by the slice which could raise as much as raffling but a lot less work but this was dismissed.
There are also a couple of events on, on Saturday and an exhibition at The library gallery that I want to see (War photographs but featuring women in combat).
But first I need to get in (and hopefully out) of the bath.
See you later turtles.
Ankles not great either. However I found something to eat (remainder of the cooking bacon with a tin of beans), I have loaded up the washing machine including the things from my suitcase and I'm running a bubble bath (so I can easily wipe the bath afterwards). Will take my Christmas cards and some sewing to mum's (I checked that she had everything she needed and asked the taxi driver to take her case inside the house yesterday). The rest can wait (kitchen is still fairly clear but lots of pans have been used). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
