    evening!

Churchmouse/snowy - ive just read the fan oven/baking tin saga from yesterday - do you know....I'm quite curious now that I shall have to get my instruction booklet out now!! and that usually only comes out twice a year so that I can change the clock!!:rotfl: Snowy, like you I have to sometimes adjust the heat by 20/30 instead of the 10 they recommend:confused: and the time - although I supposed we could argue that as things cook much quicker and faster then we are using less leccy! so why arent my bills any cheaper?

ellie - sorry to hear it wasnt what you expected at the hospital scan, hope you get a quicker appointment at the clinic soon x

taplady - yr DH is suffering lately isnt he? glad yr ds is enjoying his job though!

bargainrzl - still waiting to see those Brum Meet Pics!!

back again.......have read my oven booklet and re: air circulation quote:

"always leave space between the dishes to allow air circulation to ensure even cooking. this advice also applies to baking sheets and tins which should not extend too close to the oven sides"

    CM - you are correct:eek:

actually there are loads of nice recipes in my book too!!! why have I never looked at this before! :rotfl:

Shez, I really don't think you should be so amazed I was right:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Mine actually gives measurements, and they are so tiny, you'd never cook for a family of four, let alone the six we were. Mine always has to come out for changing the clock, and occasionally when i think, wonder what that control does:o :rotfl:

And I have to say, do you know the refreshments on offer at every retail site:rotfl: ;) Costcos, Borders etc etc:rolleyes:
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Evening all... oh, that was dear old Dixon of Dock Green!

well, I didn't do the cupboard, in fact I didn't do much at all, but feel better for it. I have not been up this late for weeks too!

Tomorrow is another day, and I think that the cupboard will get sorted then - off to have a cuppa and some toast!

    Good night.

    Hello all,

Just got to read posts now and am so tired that I have taken nothing in...but here goes anyway:

Crazychik....sorry about your kitchen, very disappointing.

    Twink...Congratulations!!

Hugs to all not feeling well, especially Penpin and Ellie...very frustrating to be told that there is nothing wrong when you have such pain.

I really get very frustrated, upset and downright jealous when I see all the things that most of you manage to do in the day, think that I have been in 'invalid mode' since July of last year when I was completely incapacitated...have to get moving again and not let the constant tiredness take over...my lovely doctor who pulls no punches reckons that most of it is 'f****ing laziness. Maybe he's right, have been making an effort this week and its not going great...think that some of it is having had people around all the time for last week, need a little peace and quiet.

have been knitting to-day, a scarf for Cmas for DD3's bf. Have lots of other projects to complete before Cmas so had better move on.

My oldest friend is 62 to-morrow and in keeping with time constraints and OS I made her a birthday cake to-day, she is coming to have lunch to morrow with OH and I, better than somewhere else really as one GS has to be collected at 1.25 and the other at 3...this way we can have a leisurely lunch and a chat...while I knit! Am doing salad with sweet chilli tofu, sea bream with peas, chicory and rosemary roasted potatoes and the cake as pudding.

Promised myself an early night, not really working, but heading off in a minute

    Hugs all round,

    Marie
