I don't want to grieve for someone who didn't love me. I sound shallow I know.
I really just don't know what to do with myself.0 -

You're not grieving for him - you're grieving for the life you thought was your future which now won't happen.
You will have a better life but it takes time to let go of all the feelings.0 -
Oh I get you now

Kay, remember what I mentioned before? This is normal. You're not grieving him. You're grieving the loss of your future, as hypothesised in your mind before. Your life has ultimately changed massively and everything you thought was about to happen, has just changed.
Short term - you'll feel horrific.
Long term - best decision you ever made.0 -

I've red this thread and the other one and just want to say that you have so done the right thing, this pain now is better than the years of pain you would have had.
There isn't one of us on here that hasn't had heartbreak of some sort, the loss of a future imagined life. That doesn't help much, but you aren't on your own.
Try and find some nice things to plan and give yourself something to look forward to and remember every day takes you closer to happier times.0 -
I’ve read the last thread and just found this one.
Your last thread disappeared just as the inconsistencies in your story were adding up.
I’ll await this one being deleted as well.0 -
I'm glad someone (Eschaton) thinks along the same lines as meThrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0
