    Yeah, same.
  • Is it me? The rest of you seem to speak very highly of valued opinions but I have nothing but trouble with them.

The first couple of surveys I had wouldn't proceed to the next page, like there was a problem with the site. I've had loads where I answer questions only to be told I don't meet the criteria.

I messed up last week - received one for my 12 year old son to answer, but stupidly I didn't read the invitation email properly so assumed it was for me. As soon as I entered my age it said I wasn't eligible. I emailed and explained I had messed up but they just say tough, it can't be re-sent.

Now I've just received another one for my son - this time I DID read the email properly so I knew it was for him. The first question was if your parent has received this survey please enter their age. Now I read that as meaning MY age, but having been kicked out of the last survey for putting my age instead of my son's, I thought play safe, so I told him to enter his own age. And it kicked him out! We don't meet the criteria.

So I messed up again. But the annoying thing is there's no way to change your answers. I am getting sooooooo frustrated with this site - I am really tempted to just delete the emails as soon as they come in now - but whenever I criticise them, people say how great they are. So what do I do???

Sorry for ranting (I guess I'm just feeling a bit grouchy this morning!). But seriously I would appreciate some advice as I feel like whatever I do with this company it's going to be wrong.
  • Me again! :p

Hubby has just brought me a cup of tea so I am ever so slightly calmer! :rotfl:

I realise the above post is a total rant and I would like to apologise to anyone who bothered to read it! I do rant now and again! Seriously though, I am at the point of tearing my hair out with this company - and I so want it to work out because everyone speaks so highly of them.

Please say nice soothing things to me... _pale_

I rarely have problems with VO.

I sometimes get confussed when they send surveys for my kids. Most of the time they don't clearly state if they want the child to start the survey or the parent.
I've had surveys where i'm supposed to start & then do the first few questions & then my child does the rest of the survey. I've also had surveys where my child is supposed to start.

Also emailing VO is just a waste of time, i find them utterly useless.

Give VO another go, i've earnt a good amount of vouchers from them, so they are worth it.

I hate the ones that ask 10-15 questions and then tell you that you are not suitable. Those are a complete waste of my time!

I agree. We've filled out enough bloomin' profile questions - it annoys me when every single survey asks my age - it's on the bloomin' profile!!!

Do you think it's worth persevering then? Because at the moment my heart sinks when I see I have an email from them - because I know I'll be all excited at the prospect of earning 75p (!) and then so annoyed when I get rejected.

Well, don't get annoyed at being rejected for an online survey! There are far worse things to get cross at.

It is worth persuing. I only *earn* about £30-£50 a year tops - but its all mine! Some people get a lot more than that.

And with regards to the kid ones, I have noticed that although they may say they are looking for 7-14yo, they actually specifically want 12 and 13 yo (for example) - but a lot of people lie (from threads I have read here) and put in what they want to hear (read!) about an product, so they are more likely to get the people they want if they generalise a bit, then squish em out!
