Nigewick - I know it doesn't seem a lot but I have two young children so i am very limited as to what I can do. I take my youngest out every afternoon for a walk (in a pram) so I thought at least i can earn while i am walking (with the added bonus of losing weight - hopefully!!).
I have decided not to put the money in my purse or it will last me one food shop but to put it aside for Christmas which by then I will have £800.00 - not to be sniffed at i don't think!!!0 -
Say it takes an average of 20 seconds to deliver each one. That's just over five and a half hours without a break. £20 works out to about £3.60 per hour. No wonder they wouldn't mind you doing more.
Nigel.
At least Shandella is guaranteed the £20 unlike putting out brochures and never knowing how much you will earn and doesn't have to go back a few times and collect like brochures , shes had no outlay and won't incur any charges like lost brochures needing to be replaced, delivery costs and then the hassle of delivering the goods.
With children most people like to get them out for some fresh air during the day and she could combine this - great. Sounds good to me:DWe love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0 -

I wish you all the best, why dont you try other shops and see if they have leaflets to deliver. Deliver 2 at the same time and double your earnings. 3 and you have tripled. Same houses, makes it much more worth while.0

Have you had your money back yet? I've sent proof of postage for my returns but keep getting statements from them adding debit intrest. Am getting increasingly annoyed!
You prompted me to phone them.
Just spoken to a charming young lady who informed me that my full refund has been approved. She has put in a request to see when the cheque will be posted. If I call back on Wednesday with the reference number she has given me, I should be able to find out when I will actually receive the cheque.
I've just logged on to my bank accoun to cancel the direct debit for the internat account access and was pleased to see that it hasn't been setup yet.
I'm more hopeful than I was.
How long have you been waiting for your money?0 -
Errrr.........I've been waiting for around 16 months. And yes, I have written to them on numerous occasions! Good luck!'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

16 months! Ouch!!!!
What are the criteria for raising a claim in the small claims court? It sounds as if this may be the only way for you to get your money back.
Don't know to be honest Fred, my main concern at the moment is with the statement that I get on a weekly basis from them, showing more added debit interest on goods that I returned to them 6 months ago and have since provided proof of collection in at least three letters to them. According to Kleeneze, my debt with them has risen from around £90 (value of returned goods) to over £141 (added interest from them!)
I feel very inclined to write them one last letter, telling them that proof of return has been provided on numerous occasions and that if I receive any more statements, this will be deemed as harrassment!  'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

Have you tried calling the Service Centre and asking to speak to a Manager, in my Kleeneze days they allocated you a reference number and got a Manager to call you back so the enquiry is logged. I would also make sure any letters, copies of proof you sent items back are sent recorded delivery.
I have to say i always found the Service Centre helpful when i had any issues but it is important to make sure you're call is logged (if they still operate the same system), if not perhaps they should go back to it.We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0 -

Yes, I've done all that and was told to put it in writing, which I have done. I don't know what else I can do!'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'
