how many others in your area are doing it .Also I think you have to pay for the cataloge .So if you deliver a cataloge and its not returned ,well its your loss .

    Hi

I've moved your thread over to the 'Up Your Income' board, where you should find some advice from people who have worked for Kleeneze.

Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Click on this link for a previous thread where this is discussed in detail. Should give you a pretty good idea of all the ins and outs -

Hi, just one question about Kleeneze if I may.

I was wondering how you go about starting out with this company, as I got a call the other day, (because I'd entered my details on a website looking for part time work), giving me the option of working up to 15 hours a week, but without revealing details of what it entailed. The individual wanted to meet up to discuss and reveal the offer at a later date - when I'd also receive the information pack about this business.

Would this be the usual way of getting involved with Kleeneze, as the company the individual mentioned is the one that owns Kleeneze, and I don't know if I fancy doing that!

I'd say there is a strong possibility that it's Kleeneze.

Probably trying a different angle to recruit, so many know the name Kleeneze they probably think use another name (the parent company for instance) and get people looking and hopefully they can talk them round whereas saying its Kleeneze would result in no interest in most cases straightaway.

  • I did this for about 3 years and did manage to build up a good customer base so made an ok p/t income out of it. The thing that constantly got to me was how the company charge a fee for all the bits you need. If you are due to pick up your catalogues on a rainy day you can easily loose 50% of them through damages and they cost alot to replace. It can work - i managed to recruit 4 people in those 3 years of doing it, but they didn't stick it out for long - and as i wasn't a great success myself at it struggled to motivate them to continue.

Basically just from putting out catalogues I was getting about £2000 sales/month max which was around £400 pounds cash in hand, then take off all the expenses you have to pay out for was probably more like £300. Not a bad p/t income but it was a fair few hours I was doing every week.
  • Oh yes, then I paid out a fair bit of money on trying to recruite people (who just were not interested). Took out a couple of ads in the local papers, flyers, shop windows etc which also takes out a big chunk of your earnings.
