Happy belated New Year Munchin to you and your family.

I was sorry to hear the news of your aunt - always seems so doubly sad at this time of year.

Your family Christmas and NYE sounded lovely though and your 2019 goals are fab! I especially like "become more frugal but not be a tight....' - that's one that I shall adopt!:D

I wish you all the very best for 2019 and look forward to reading your posts.

Thanks SSG & HHD - Happy New Year to you both :).

I’m planning a busy day today so that I can have a lovely relaxing day tomorrow. I was back at work on Wed and it was seriously hard going.

Sister mentioned last night that her and partner were thinking about going to Spain this year with kids and would like us to come. I might have enough in dream holiday fund to cover it but maybe not. I will wait and see how her planning comes along but 2019 is all about saying yes and having more memories....I wish they were all free though:o.

Health - I’ve lost 5lb this week:D - I expect it to be very slow from now on but quite pleased with the start - only 49lb (:o) to go.

    To do
    • [STRIKE]Forest run[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Take down Christmas decorations[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Tidy living room[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Tidy junk yard that is the spare room[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Clean car and stitch hole in seat cover.[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Ironing[/STRIKE]
    • Mini shop - not done but can do tmw

I’m going out tonight to local pub but not drinking so will be a cheap night as no taxi required.

I better get that list started as plans tmw should be a nice walk in the park with pup and watching a film.

    Hi,

Managed to get almost everything done on my list and ended up sorting out boxes I had stored and tidied my room as well. I have dinner on early but not eating until later. Quite tired now but a shower will hopefully bring me back to life :)

  • You've got loads done today Munchin and well done on the weight loss :T. A shower always revives me when I've worn myself out and it always feels good to get lots ticked off the list.

Well done on the weight loss, Munchin! I remember when I did Dry January a few years ago it helped me lose a good few pounds - it's not just the calories from the alcohol, but the calories I was eating when I got the 'booze munchies' lol.

    Hi all,

Life got a bit busy there and I didn't get a chance to catch up in diary land. It might take me to this weekend to fully catch up.

So things as you can tell have been busy and I've been out with friends and for coffee a few times. Spends for that have been quite minimal but I'm still down to squeaky times again :o - I'm YNAB broke not reality broke.

I'm watching Martin L on his programme now and some poor woman was struggling to get any money transfer deals as her credit was so bad. It makes me appreciate that I'm not in that situation but I was in the past.

I have plenty of food in cupboards and I made a curry from Deliciously Ella (online) yesterday which did dinner last night and lunch today. I have more of it left but I'm not great at having repeat meals but needs must.

Weight loss - another -2 this week, so that is -7lb so far 44 to go. I've managed to go for a walk most lunchtimes last week and started this week of to a good start. Pup was sick last week so he was confined to quarters and his walks help motivate me.

I'm on leave this Fri & Mon to use up leave and really looking forward to it - yes I know I'm just back to work after Xmas :o. Sister is coming up to colour my hair and hide the old greys and I know I need a haircut but will leave that until Feb.

    Weekly spends - w/c 14th January 2019 - £20 per week

    Mon - NSD
    Tues - NSD
    Wed - NSD
Thurs - £5 (charity donation for friend who died)
    Fri -
    Sat -

  • Well done on the weight loss :T. Poor poorly pup I hope he's well enough for his walks again soon.
