I looked to see if the Mobymemory place I ordered the drive from had got a caddy but none came up. Internet keeps going off on laptop so didn't get to look anywhere else. I'll ask at the memory place if they do them. They have the memory in stock at 3 local stores.

The link to the caddy is in post 32. Nice to see that you supported the small retailer for the SSD as opposed to Amazon. :)

Sorry, missed the caddy post. I can't get on to eBay from my phone so will have to try and get the laptop to get on, need to down load the other stuff anyway. Are they going to take hours?
I've got the memory and dvd's

    Depends on your Internet bandwidth.

You don't have the SSD yet, so no panic. We are just trying to get everything ready by the time it arrives.

    You can fit the RAM now. It's very easy;

It's even quicker than that, as the slot should be empty. It only goes in one way. So make sure that the slot on the RAM lines up with the tab in the slot.

After a failed attempt the first time, Win10 downloaded and saved but not burnt to disc yet. Got fed up of waiting and fell asleep!!
Will try to download the Win7.

Every Where - Can't do the Win7, tried several times - not recognising the link.

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at mega.nz.

How did the RAM fitting go?

Have provided a new link. The old link is fine, but perhaps Firefox is blocking the download by default. You need to allow it. Use another browser.

Didnt try the RAM fitting yet, although it might have speeded up the loading and getting on to the Internet. I fell asleep waiting for it to load!!

I have only got one other browser - Edge - I uninstalled Chrome because I thought that was slowing everything down but it is just as bad.

That new link seems to be working. Not burnt the Win10 yet, not giving it too many jobs to do at once or they all fail at the moment.
The Win10 doesn't need anything special to burn it with does it?

    Update - Done

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd451080.aspx will do for both.

Dollardog, the above video, 38 second-ish mark where he sticks two fingers in to remove the ram and dislodges GENTLY the metal locking leavers that hold the ram in place - do not be over enthusiastic and break them off, or bend them. Easily does it.

Actually never seen anyone bend them, but have been asked a few times how to put them back after breaking them off :(
