Yesterday ended up being a spend day. I was doing some work related training and bought a coffee and lunch whilst there- poor planning on my behalf. We then met up with my friend later on for dinner and had a catch up. I felt a bit better about myself after then.
Today will be another NSDmeaning I have reached my total of 15/15 NSDs. We are staying in and waiting for a parcel (some of the boys Christmas presents) and tonight we are off to his friends for tea and trick or treating. It should be good!
I look forward to seeing you all in New York in November.Chandelier.

Thanks Thrifty, for a fantastic October challenge.
And thanks all of the turtles who take the time to read, post and support each other on our journey. I am well aware that all of my posts are miserable and full of worry and self pity, but I appreciate every kind word and bit of advice I get.
See you in New York! Not giving up

Hi all,
NSDs 14/15 - so close doh!
Extra funds this month - car boot sale plus sealed pot - £523
Christmas - cards bought, some presents bought, list of food and other gifts made
Banned - one fish n chip supper bought, £12.60 for three of us so not too bad.
Exercise - managed 10k most days, still need to get back to running
Healthy eating - stuck to taking in healthy lunches all month, plus at least 5 portions of fruit during work time. This month i have lost 4lbs which isn't bad going.
Think that's it for me. See you in NY!

Managed a final NSD to round out the month, 20 in total which is 5 more than I wanted so I'm chuffed. It all kind of worked out okay money wise this month despite some unwanted expenses, so can't complain too much. See you all in November!0
