I’m so jealous that some of you break up in a week or two, I have three left until half term!
I’ve decided today is a new day and I will try and get back on track financially. No excuses. No need to spend and definitely no need to eat chocolate!LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

I had a better night of sleep last night and as such am feeling ready to face the day today (almost). I feel much more positive within myself than I have done all week.
Was supposed to be tutoring today, but got a message cancelling that in the middle of the night(!) asking me for tomorrow instead. So today really is now my own.
No plans to spend any £ though, but maybe a walk later for a clear head. Will see if bestie is free for a catch up.Not giving up

Hi all,
Still not at home so seems unlikely I'll organise too much but budget is stil the same as yesterday was NSD #4. My mums kind neighbour gave me £10 for the kids for Halloween so I used it to pay for a halloween messy play party for them. They have plenty of toys & will get plenty of sweets so thought this best. £130 still in budget. Hoping today will be NSD #5 but it depends what my family want to do with the kids.
Literally rubbish at excersize, extra, improvise etc but mainly because im away. Did chat with Mum about what she's getting the kids at xmas. They usually get them lovely gifts & I do try & bare in mind that they get stuff from other people. I have literally no idea what the norm is for how much kiddies get. I am grateful mine are still young and still want toys & not laptops .
Grateful for- Mum buying me a load of pies from the pie shop to freeze :A These will do 3 meals & they just don't do them at home like they do here. Love, love, love Yorkshire but Lancashire does the best meat & tatty pie (to me), for my mums kind neighbour & for my baby snoring like a pig0 -
Morning! Very happy to report a NSD yesterday, so up to 3/15. It's a start.
2 weeks to half term for us. But I do have Monday off so a long weekend for me.
Flu jab and annual health checkup (via work) and most things are looking good except that I'm putting on too much weight on my waist. Damn middle age! Still on no booze and attempting to be a bit healthier wth food choices.
Organise: this weekend I WILL sort my kitchen cupboards. Otherwise stuff will be falling out!
Budget still looking OK, 2 weeks to payday and I still have cash in the food budget and general spends. Hope this continues.
Much as I like the idea of a spending freeze, with the amount of food this lot get through I struggle to keep it to two shops a week, let alone one.0 -
Is it mean to be pleased that DH got called for jury service so will be out of the house for 2 weeks in December :j - so I can get on with things in peace...
Nope, not mean, sounds perfectly reasonable to me (unless you plan on changing the locks or moving house) absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that.
Besides, it's his own fault for being too distracting. I get nothing done with DH around unless I just ignore him (and then I feel rude)4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
