Probably yesterday judging by the usual Post Office speed. I did a transfer out yesterday evening. It hasn't arrived yet.0 -
Anyone tried transferring in a large amount yet, ie. 10k+?0

Yes, no problems at all - Showed up within a few minutes.0 -
Yes, no problems, turned up in minutes. I also tested a small withdrawal, it appeared almost instantly. Mildly annoyingly there seemed to be nowhere to enter a reference so it just shows as a Counter Credit against my name in my linked account. I'm not going to die in a ditch about it thoughDennisTenus wrote: »Anyone tried transferring in a large amount yet, ie. 10k+?0 -
Opening process. Impressive.
I started transferring a small amount of money from link a/c to this newly open a/c arrive in a few minutes.
Transfer back a small amount to the link a/c agai arrive in a few minutes.
I understand one of the main drawbacks is because there is promotional bonus of 0.15%. So after one year the interest will drop to 1.35%.
I might be wrong but I found another drawback is that it will only
allow two way communication between Marcus and link a/c.
Using Faster payment you could only save the money from link account, and transfer money out to the link a/c can not be done tp another accounts.0 -

Some people have several bank accounts a/c and need bouncing the money forward and backward multiple times a week..0 -
Just wondered. Do you have to provide a mobile phone number? I don't give out such details generally and don't wish to start now.0
