Hope the site does not crash for that rate :rotfl:0

It was very responsive when I opened my account and checked my first £1 had arrived safely.0

Yay! I've just filled up my 2nd BoS account and was going to open another but now there's no need to mess about sorting out direct debits. Opened with a quid, not showing yet so will top up once it shows.:T#145 Save £12k in 2016 Challenge: £12,062.62/£12,000.00 Beginning Balance: £5,027.78 CHALLENGE MET

Account opening was easy. You can only fund and withdraw from your linked account with a withdrawal payment limit of £100,000 unless you phone them using their 0800 number. Interest is paid monthly and not annually. Funded with £50 which turned up within a few minutes. I'm a happy vampire squid saver0

Me too. Couldn't have been easier. The only thing on my wish list really is an app.#145 Save £12k in 2016 Challenge: £12,062.62/£12,000.00 Beginning Balance: £5,027.78 CHALLENGE MET

OK, what am I missing? Why is this so good? I'm getting 1.5% at Santander and 2% on a 1 year fix at Atom and you can get a little bit more than that elsewhere.
So, I'm assuming I've missed some extra benefit?0 -
I have just opened and funded with £10 and it is already there. Will move more from my Tesco savings tomorrow. Easy to open and the top easy access account for now, anyway. Was MFW#60 - mortgage paid off December 20210

AJ, it's an instant access account, no notice period, no account charges. Once you've filled up higher paying current accounts (Tesco and TSB) and any regular savers, this is on a level with BoS and Lloyds without fiddling around setting up direct debits.#145 Save £12k in 2016 Challenge: £12,062.62/£12,000.00 Beginning Balance: £5,027.78 CHALLENGE MET

OK thanks. No biggie then really.0

Well I'm happy. Can't get a better rate for instant access given I've filled all better paying options. I don't want to lock funds away as my cash savings is my emergency fund. Longer term money in investments. Not every financial product will work for everybody. This one is a good fit for what I need.#145 Save £12k in 2016 Challenge: £12,062.62/£12,000.00 Beginning Balance: £5,027.78 CHALLENGE MET
