See thats what I would do:o
I have a window cleaner as well, because he do it far quicker & better than I ever could. Plus I WON'T do outside upstairs, I fall off ladders too easy:eek:
The window cleaner charges £12 inside & out. The last one charged me £15, but when I went back to work I had to find a new one that worked Saturdays & the bonus is he's cheaper:D0 -

No my house is messy messy messy. However it is not totally my fault. When I was iller than I am now, I decided it would be a great money making idea to buy a job lot of clothes on ebay to resell. But it was 7 GIANT boxes full of clothes, and until I started getting better, they just sat there. Now I am trying to sell them off at any price to try and get some money back, but the amount is so huge, it is intimidating, so I don't get around to much. Ho hum

Would it be worth doing a car boot to be rid of them? Or a few! It might help you to feel better if they are gone!
IA - does he know it's waiting there or is he oblivious like most men??
Inspired by this thread I came home from work today adn did my weekly home blessing hour - basically ran a hoover round, changed the bed, put clothes away, emptied bins, and stuck some washing in - not much really as I did it FAST - but it looks so much better

The flylady has a post on this website. It is pretty good, but if you prefer there is the flylady site or one of the flylady groups.Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money but you can't get more time0

well my house is about as cluttered as my mind at the moment
I blitz clean at weekends but by Tuesday its a tip again0 -
Our home is...untidy most of the time - but half an hour would get the downstairs reasonable for visitors. Main problem is the spare bedroom, where everything gets dumped when I'm tidying. Only two of us at home these days, but we're both horders by nature. Last time we had a real declutter was just before we moved here - 24 years ago!
I like the Flylady principle but like one or two others I put off doing things 'til the last possible moment! I'm another list fanatic tho' so I know what needs doing, just enjoy being on here too much!Resolution:

Me too! I've even thought about employing a cleaner so that I would tidy and clean before they came but then I decided I was being a nutter and would just be better making myself get up off my fat lazy @rse and getting on with it.
I've already been on here for an hour tonight and I haven't done anything. Will get to the end of this thread then unload and reload the dishwasher before I read any further!0 -
Oh heck! I've finished it already which means I have to go and do something.
Back in a bit... :rolleyes:0 -
Mines always tidy. Like the OP there is a place for everything and if there isn't we don't own it!! However that has its drawbacks as I find it hard to get motivated to actually clean when everything looks OK anyway. Thanks to this thread I actually looked a bit closer today and as a result I cleaned the windows and paintwork.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0
