  • Morning :D jeepers I'm tired today! Going to have a fairly easy day therefore :)

    * all meals from stores
    * quick swish round - did a lot of household tasks yesterday a quick tidy round, vacuum & polish upstairs will keep us looking good ;)
    * going into town to get an eye test - cost reimbursed by work ;)
    * while in town will pop to a couple of shops to get a few bits
    * stop at sm on way home
    * going to buy final bit of fabric for dd's quilt. If cutter & mat arrive today I might even do some cutting :D
    * need to unpick 2 x rows of knitting :( I've gained a stitch somewhere
    * 2 x walks with pup :D exercise needs met - tick!
    * after school madam has a party 6.15-8.15! Won't be back till 9 as dropping off 2 other girls...

    merida88 wrote: »
    - biking routine to work etc done
    - leftovers for lunch done
    - miscellaneous pasta (with pork & fennel meatballs) for supper done, was ok, won't rush to do the meatballs again
    - laundry has been on overnight - if the mist burns off I'll put it out at lunch, otherwise on airer done, got dry outside :j
    - check ald! website to see if I can order bike stuff online (otherwise will be elbows at dawn on Sunday when the specialbuys hit) done, ordered online and free delivery too :j
    - do some studying tonight not done :(
    - do [STRIKE]amazing and brilliant[/STRIKE] best possible work today and formulate strategy for catch up with boss tomorrow - part of the longer term "up your income" plan :cool: hmm. ok-ish, mostly admin yesterday which doesn't really help
    - walk dog tonight, he didn't get a walk yesterday in the end (no-one panic, we have a large garden and he's starting to slow up a bit with age, so missing a day isn't the end of his world) Done. Think he's been reading MSE :rotfl:, he was on a mission last night to prove he's as sprightly as they come!

    Also:
    - reduced time hot water is on - there will only be me for the next couple of weeks so no point heating loads
    - scored free worming tablets for pooch as vendor sent ones for smaller dogs in error and said to keep them, they've sent the right ones as well, but it was enough of the wrong size to make up a dose for the large lad.
    - started pruning a rose and sorting out the garden a bit

    Today:
    - biking routine to/from work
    - leftovers for lunch
    - supper all planned
    - amazing and brilliant work

    Afternoon all :)
    Just sat down for a breather, as I have been repotting quite big plants / dragging big pots around from back to front gatden.

    Apart from that, I tried my new shampoo bar this morning -seems fine :)

    Went to the shop where my sales unit is situated this morning, for a charity coffee morning event. Made chocolate sheet cake and a tin of cheese biscuits to take down there :) Tidied unit and added a few new bits while there

    Didn't need lunch when I got back :o
    Hopefully all the pot wrangling used up some of the additional calories :eek:
    Have checked banks and updated spreadsheet
    Not spent anything today
    Listed an item on ebay

    Have spinach and feta filo pie (made yesterday) in larder for dinner. I will be having a salad with mine :)
    Need to pack 2 ebay sales
    And water the pots in the front garden after shifting them around

    Hope everyone is having the nice weather that we are currently having here!
  • I am so tired tonight that I fear I might be asleep before too long. I haven't managed dinner just yet but have fed the kids at least... It's been another manic and really busy day/week and I'm pleased it's over.
    Nothing to report. No spends, no saves - it's payday but I have barely noticed. It'll be pleasant to know I can shop tomorrow without panicking about the bank balance. :rotfl:

    Today oh is taking madam swimming which means I'll have a couple of hours to myself. No doubt I will use that time tidying up! :mad: nope determined not to squander my time! Will do manic 15 mins tidying when they leave ;)actually did just over an hour but have put away EVERYTHING, cleaned bathroom incl. windows, polished our bedroom, wiped sides down & sorted some paperwork! That will do. Will reward myself with 30 mins knitting :D

    * take in the trousers that are sat on my side. Also want to refashion a pair of pj bottoms so they are a different style/better fit
    [STRIKE]* load of washing in. Hang on line when finished[/STRIKE]
    * all meals from stores
    * pork casserole for tea
    * list my old sewing machine and a couple of madam's old clothes on fleabay

    * think of a courgette plan
    * go the allotment for an hour of digging
    * soaked some black beans to make chilli, bean & chocolate soup mmmmm

    Hi September Savers,

    Morning!:coffee:Work today, day 4 of 4. :j

    Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Four:

    * Checked online banking.

    * Take a packed lunch to work.

    * Have been getting up earlier and going to bed earlier. Seems to have made a huge difference to my life. I can get 'house/money' stuff done before I go to work which means less 'house/money' stuff to do at the weekend.

    * Put monthly expenses claim through today.

    To be continued....

    Things don't have to be perfect to be wonderful.

    If you have a Halifax or a Lloyds credit card and pay by monthly direct debit I suggest reading this....or you could end up poorer:

    "If you've set up a direct debit to pay off your Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland credit card and then make a one-off additional payment, your direct debit now WON'T be adjusted – so make sure you don't overpay."
