Today's technical challenge: setting up our mobiles to control our tv using a free App so that the phone keyboard can be used as a keyboard for the tv for searching on Netflix and free on demand services. This will prevent DW buying a wireless keyboard for the tv but is not proving an easy task.

    Hi all!

DNMS - that's awful about your tooth! I hope they pay for the treatment!

Foxgloves - thinking of you and yours x

FatVonD - nice to "see" you back!

Purps - sorry to hear your stress

Merida - pork and fennel meatballs sounds yum! I think I'll try that!

ccl - app and code? My mind is a blank! Can you pm me and enlighten me please? :o

    Massive hugs to everyone!!

Bit of a funny weekend - work stress intruding on my hygge. Kept the faith though by not really doing a lot. Plus I scuffled through the freezer and cupboards on a use it up mission. Made some cake with some free rhubarb and some protein powder that OH didn't like. Also found some beetroots that had been lurking and taking up space for the best part of a year that I have made into (far too much) hummous

    Today's mission:
    • B/L/D from stores
    • End of month budget sheet
    • Use new cosy hot water bottles if nippy
    • Put last night's bottle water into my collection bucket - done
    • Finish crochet glove
    • Ask friends for snack ideas for OH - done
    • Charge phone in work - done
    • Nabbed 3 pieces of fruit that were in the "take me" bowl at work - done
    • Couple of bits from shop - foil and chickpeas - done
    • No alcohol
    • Treat wasp nest - foam not working. Am now trying powder. HK - I'm sorry your ones are coming in the house!
    Not much doing today

    Have a good one all

  • so instead of eating at a country pub, and spending circa £50 we stopped at a SM got aunt bessie trimmings and a bottle of wine for £12 and I have come home and put a roast together. I would have liked a meal out but it pains me to much to spend so much on so little!

will make a self saucing chocolate pudding for tea/desert

Have terrible pmt atm (am on the verge of murder at any point) so this seemed a half way house!

I hope you feel better! If it's any help, I've been taking high strength Omega oil blend (3, 6 and 9) and it's helped with my pmt and cramps loads.

No - that's not you being forgetful, that's me being a complete plank. It was Purps, not you - sorry. It appears that it's my mind being blank most of the time :o:o:o

I'm in the middle of an epic stint of work - ticking things off my to do list and being productive. So I'm just catching up before I get back into it.
