Morning all,
Got baby GS to sleep, so sneaking on here with a cup of coffee
Not managed to do anything yet, except have breakfast and peg out last night's washing.
Will check banks / update spreadsheet in a minute
Decide what to make for charity coffee morning on Friday, at shop where I have my sales unit.Muffins maybe, as I won't have the car, so need something that won't disintegrate during the mile-odd walk down there. I am too cowardly to take the camper van as there is a very narrow and tight turn entering and leaving the car park :eek:
Wash up and tidy kitchen
Check radiators are working - put heating on briefly to warm the place up a bit for baby, but the sun is coming out so I will turn it off again! But will check which radiators are working properly first (all, hopefully!)
Quick check on contents of fridge, and I imagine baby will be awake by then.
Plenty of leftover curry for dinner, so no need to cook tonight :j0 -
Morning all, :wave: to everyone :grouphug: to those who need it
Ally, I'm another who :rotfl: at the thought of space in a freezer
Ziggy, enjoy the cinema
Well ds & dh were really pleased with the cs book finds from yesterdayDs couldn't wait to take it into school with him this morning so that he could read it on the bus on the way home tonight.
I'm going to try working for 15mins then taking 10 mins break today as I'm feeling a bit under weather but have lots of bits that need doing.
Today's list which will hopefully grow...Get dh to deal with his pension - major frog! Ok not a chance in hell in this happening today or probably any day before the weekend as I know that he is snowed under but I'm keeping it on my list as a reminder to me!
Switch dss alarm clock off at the wall for the daytime done
Go to gym after dropping the kids off to make the most of my membership. Will fill up water bottle. done
Rm surveys done
Rm other survey correctly delivered one done
Triage fridge to make sure nothing goes to waste done
Make families lunches for tomorrow, extras for dh as I know he's got to drive 5hrs each way for a meeting and it will save money on service area food if I'm organised done
Check banking/update spreadsheet done
Ironing - I only do the stuff that I can't get away with just hanging, like dh's work shirts, trousers and jeans usually done and switched off before the starting the last item
Hoover round everywhere
Meal plan for the next few days as I've got leftovers that can be used for us all tonight done will be enough left overs for tomorrow too
2 nights no cooking I like that!
Make some Welsh cakes done and freeze them before the kids see them! done as the ones I made the other day disappeared between the kids and a couple of their friends - they basically inhaled them I think :rotfl:
Try reorganising the freezer & get the freezer list back up to date (my list includes which drawer its in and if its in the inside freezer or outside freezer
) done
Share bathwater and continue use up of lotions and potions
Check surveys, I'm a close to payout on for one site. done
Continue going through my cupboards and reorganising/get rid of anything not needed to the charity shop/tip
I've finished my :coffee: so I'm going to set the timer and see what I can achieve.
:heart: cleaned kitchen using stardrops and washable clothsOrdered another 2 books from the library
Ordered a onesie for ds1s birthday as he's asked for one (his younger brother is wearing his hand me down) I thought that craze had gone! anyway ordered one through dhs works perks site so will get a bit of cashback against it.
Books I'd ordered have arrived so I've wrapped both the birthday set and the Christmas sets straight away, reusing gift paper. - updated xmas spreadsheet too
Take care all.

1LL hope you feel better soon x Also assume your OH is self-employed, otherwise company should 100% be paying for sustenance for that long a day! You are remarkably organised.
[STRIKE]Feeling slightly more on track today[/STRIKE] Have completely changed the plan for today. DFW activities:
- [STRIKE]biking to work after lunch[/STRIKE] got the car as going to supermarket now
- chicken out of freezer for supper (tick)
- gym later
- got to sort a wash to put on post-gym
- short walk for doglet between work and the gym - might happen if I can get through supermarket in time
- meal plan has been done making the most of what we have in, a few top ups needed hence supermarket run while I have access to the car. Will stick to list!!!
- Amended budget to include small anniversary present which obviously I hadn't actually forgotten about
- will change gym class from evening to morning on Friday to fit revised week plan
- need to remember to portion and freeze big pot of hummus that's in the fridge. The MSE forums say I can freeze it and it'll only be chucked otherwise...
Hope everyone has a good day0 -

Thanks Merida, he is employed and they will pay but he finds it easier to go with a bag of food from home which will be healthy rather then eat beige food (as he calls it) from a service station. He will buy lots of coffees on route that he'll claim for though. I find it crazy in this day and technological age that he has to drive all this way for what he is expecting to be a 30-45 minute meeting :mad:Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Hi everyone - not very much to report. Last day of the week for me too clf
I had to stay late last night so did 8-10 :eek: I also started at 7 am the previous day :eek::eek: this has wiped me out! took 2 hours toil & 2 leave to finish at 4
Am now home playing the don't-want-to-spend-the-money-or-calories vs lets-get-a-takeaway game. Let's see which side of me wins! think I may plump for egg on toast and a chocolate bar but we'll see
today I have:
* hung washing out - must get it in!
* NSD
* took food to work
* updated & submitted expenses
* received fabric to make dd's quilt for xmas :cool:
I still need to:
* wash up
* decide re food - I'm obviously hungry as it's weighing on my mind!
* help madam with homework/reading
* knit/read/bath/sleep not necessarily in that order!
I think that's my lot! It was payday yesterday so I did the usual money shuffle. Not much in my account but should be enough. Feels good to get it all shuffled about in to various piggies :money:DF as at 30/12/16

Unusual for me, as I am not a takeaway fan, but I have been playing this game too
Pretty wiped out after looking after baby GS, who wants carrying around most of the time, and is heavy! Also did a walk into town and back this afternoon to get him to sleep, so a good workout all round!
Decided that the lesser of the two evils is to just cook some rice and warm up the curry made yesterday, easier than going into town to get something, and far healthier (loads of veg in it) and fewer calories.0 -

Managed to make some pear and ginger muffins while baby was asleep, not made them before... I think they are a bit so what, though DD was keen.... I don't think I will make those for the charity thing.
Received a £10 shopping voucher from RM surveys as I apparently won a draw :T
Low spend day, just an ice lolly for GD after school as I didn't have any in the freezercarrielovesfanta wrote: »Just thinking about some of the old regulars like Bobarella, maria and Pernicious. I hope they are all doing well
I often think of them too, CLF. There was La Escocesa too. Hope they are all ok, and if they are reading, that they pop in and say hello- need to remember to portion and freeze big pot of hummus that's in the fridge. The MSE forums say I can freeze it and it'll only be chucked otherwise...
Yes, it freezes fine, wouldn't know the difference, just give it a stir when you get it out0
