Morning / afternoon all (depends on when this is actually posted
)
Gosh, be careful with that wasps nest CLF
((Hugs)) Foxgloves, been there
Today's list:
Washed hair and allowed to dry naturally
Raspberries from garden for breakfast
Made an inauthentic mince and veg curry thing - smells goodWas nice, used up bits in the fridge and there is enough left for tomorrow. What is not to like?
Also made some Welsh cakes, just the dried fruit kind
OH hoovered downstairs :A
Bit of tidying in the garden
No spending planned today (apart from paying the milk bill) Did spend, as Campbells sent me a discount code£15 for a meat box, delivered. Haven't bought from there lately as I haven't found them as good as they used to be... probably why they sent the code!
Ordered butter from the milkman - it has gone up in price, and is now the same as the supermarkets (was cheaper, even than Lidls). I would still prefer to support obliging local business rather than give the supermarket the same money!
Checked banks
Read meters and entered readings on energy company's web site
Googled what type of compost I need to repot a hebe in the front garden. Just the ordinary kind, so can do this anytimeWill need some of the ericaceous type for the heather though!
Load of washing, pegged out Forgot to switch it on, so it will have to go out tomorrow
All food from home Done
Might go out somewhere in the van for a walk this afternoon, it is a nice day and it gets a bit boring just walking round our rather dull little town. It is a dull little town, but there are some lovely places just a few miles outside it. Went for a windy walk on the downs
Babysitting tomorrow, so may not get the chance to post. Here's hoping for an easier day than last time!0 -

Hugs, hope you come up for air soon!
I fell off the wagon a bit last week - went to see my mum who was surprisingly chirpy, however I think she overdid it a bit as sister has reported she's not been great since. I took some baking and was all organised and then did. not. sleep. on Friday night. Consequently I completely mucked up the bus ticket app and managed to buy two singles AND a day travel ticket just for me. £4.90 that didn't need spending! I didn't activate the day travel ticket at least so will perhaps use it next time I go up. Got carried away and bought a fancy tinted moisturiser, instead of the waterproof trousers for winter biking that I ACTUALLY NEED. I had McDo on the way home too, and a takeaway yesterday (although OH paid for that). Got home and went to pop the immersion on for an indulgent bath and it was already on! We worked out it had been on since Wednesday :eek::eek:
Just call me Spendy McSpendypants...
Today I'm at my other site again, just worked out all my expenses to claim which is something.
DFW things feel few and far between but I'll have a go:- Made coffee at home - took in travel mug for the drive
- Supper is takeaway leftovers
- Gym tonight (assuming I get back in time)
- Halfway to sorting a meal plan for the rest of the week
I could do with some advice actually. Currently I have one CC with about £5k balance. I incur regular expenses for work so tracking the balance confuses me greatly, especially when it comes to fuel receipts as not all fuel I buy is expensable. Easy solution = get a new card for work and then I know where I am, ideally a rewards/cashback one. Trouble is, the 0% rate on the current card ends in Feb, so I might need to apply for a card to balance transfer to. Is it going to be a problem having two credit applications in four/five months? Do I apply for the BT card now and carry on with the current one for expenses? :think:0 -

I did 2.5 years of Crossfit but the box has recently started to offer Opex training too and I've moved over to that as it's completely personalised. I got my first pull up last month after only 3 months of Opex training
Ooh what's Opex training? I'm still quite new to Crossfit (5 months or so) and loving it. Congratulations on your first pull up!!0 -

My advice Merida:
Read this. (Link)
Read this. (Link2)
Use a checker to see if you will likely be eligible for a credit card without the check appearing in your credit check history.(Link3)
Shop around for a credit card. (Link4)
Or, stay with the one credit card and carefully record your spending in a spreadsheet or a paper notebook.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
Ooh what's Opex training? I'm still quite new to Crossfit (5 months or so) and loving it. Congratulations on your first pull up!!
Opex is kinda whatever you want it to be. It still has the same elements as CrossFit, although you might not necessarily use them, depending on your goals. Your coach designs your workouts each day to match your needs and goals and your week. On the plus side for me, I don't have to snatch now cos I hate it hahaha.
You can find out more here: https://opexfit.com/story-of-opex/
For me it was a natural progression from CrossFit as I knew that I had some base things that needed 1-2-1 work and focus. I'd still really recommend CrossFit. I had never done anything gym-like or indeed exercise-like and it got me hooked.LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310 -
