Horizon Parking PCN Sainsbury's Alperton

I did receive PCN today from Horizon Parking for 7 Sep 2018 for 5hrs 53mins parking. But I did not parked there that long and I was at Willesden health centre from 12.41 and have proof of visitor parking permit issued to my car for 2 hrs.
I have no idea how these guys telling me my car was at Sainsbury's from 9.40am to 3.34pm as clearly I was at Willesden from 12.41 with my husband.
May be my husband went to Sainsbury's to give prescription in the morning and may went back again in the afternoon to collect the medication as its very local to us. But definitely my car wasn't park there all that time they are telling me.
What should I do as they demand £42 with in 28 days or £70 after 28 days?
Thanks in advance for your advices.

Welcome.
The keeper need to read post #1 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread and send the blue text appeal found there.
Send it unchanged - no additions or alterations necessary.
Send it as the keeper.
While waiting for a response, the keeper should also complain to Sainsburys.0 -
if you look up double dipping you will see that this is a common occurrence ....
as well as the above advice go back ans speak to the manager ... not customer services ......
and
write / email head office ... for attention of CEO .... his / her email address will be some where on the forum ....

Isn't it high time we started to also tell people re double dip cases, as well as to appeal to the PPC & complain to the retailer, to ALSO go straight in early with an ICO complaint?
I am thinking if the ICO knew how flawed ANPR was re double dips, they would learn a whole lot about PPCs and might step in with something more stringent in terms of rules about not allowing a PPC to use 'first in last out' images.
The OP should appeal to Horizon.
And complain to Sainsburys.
And - even if the PCN is cancelled quickly - should push ahead now with an online ICO complaint about this ANPR system failure, showing her evidence and also showing the BPA article all about the flaw:
https://www.britishparking.co.uk/ANPRAs with all new technology, there are issues associated with its use:
a) Repeat users of a car park inside a 24 hour period sometimes find that their first entry is paired with their last exit, resulting in an ‘overstay’. Operators are becoming aware of this and should now be checking all ANPR transactions to ensure that this does not occur.
b) Some ‘drive in/drive out’ motorists that have activated the system receive a charge certificate even though they have not parked or taken a ticket.
and these two articles as well:
http://notomob.co.uk/discussions/index.php?topic=5768.0
http://www.parking-prankster.com/anpr-technology.html
Beware NOT to click on any commercial link the Parking Prankster carries on his website.
The OP should include all of the above and put in an online complaint now:
https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/your-personal-information-concerns/
If they had as many complaints as the NoToMob has collated there, the ICO would do something about it and not just slap PPCs on the wrist.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hiya all the good people,

@Wembleymum. Sainsbury's have a consumer focus group called Trolley Talk. It may be worth joining and posting about your experience. Naturally best to go to the CEO however it may alert other customers of Sainsbury's to this issue. All sorts of supermarket issues are discussed in the forum not just the products but topics like recycling, packaging, cafe, etc.
The supermarkets are vying for our business yet they bring in these scammers. They could get the person that collects the trolleys to have a check around to see if anyone is using the car park for long periods
