Please do still lodge an ICO complaint about the misuse of your data, because even though Sainsburys want to cancel it, the misuse still occurred and complaints to the ICO might have some effect in reining in these firms in the end.#0 -
Hi all,
Quick update.
I did received £25 card from Sainsbury's today with apology, but nothing mentioned about Horizon Parking or what had happened.
Still no reply from Horizon Parking to my e-mails.
I did notice that ANPR's LED screen showing the car's number when entering the store car park have been switched off or not working since last week.0 -
Is the ICO investigating Horizon? If not, please do it, it is worth the bother as this sort of thing must be stopped and the ICO need to suss it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Now look .... the £25 card is enough for you if Horizon go
further ... which they won't.
If you use the gift card, make a photocopy of it first
as proof.
Sainsbury's are not going to admit they employ a scammer.
They will have told Horizon who will act like a spanked
child now so don't expect much from them
Interesting the machine has been switched off, maybe
Sainsbury's have at last sussed out the scam
Hope you complained to the ICO0 -
To be honest I didn't send the email to ICO yet as myself and hubby is busy with some personal issue these days with one of the kid is at hospital and other need to be at school and he can't take days off from work as much as we need.
But I'll do that for sure when this hospital business is over. No proper sleep or rest.
Appriciate your kind support and advices to have this result on this matter so far.0 -

I just only open and had a quick look at the letter and the card, but haven't used it. It says I have to wait 72 hours to use from the day I recieved it as its still not activated and its just look like dark green credit card.
As I haven't had a much free time to my self still couldn't send that email to ICO, but I'll do it as soon as I'm sorted with my personal issue going on now.0
