Thanks Chris for the chart.
There are some fabulous results in the totals, well done to all the losers.

Hi, fatrab, well done on your loss.
I hope everything’s ok, Stoke.
Hello, St Cathy, just jump right in; the water’s lovely and there are no sharks! Loads of clown fish, though!
Thanks for chart, Chris. Congratulations, v1ckyt.
And, of course, it’s +2lbs for me, as expected.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

Yes please add me to the spreadsheet, I've still got 18.5lbs that I'd like to lose, thanks
Todays grub:
Breakfast - Bacon, 20g cheddar + wholemeal toast, 2 tangerines
Lunch - Burger in a bowl + 20g cheddar (syns)
Dinner - Piri Piri Chicken salad + light mayo (syns)You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

It is possible to have too few syns fatrab and then the body hangs on to fat as a survival thing. It could be any number of reasons why your weightloss has slowed a bit though. Are you having plenty of Speed veg and/or fruit? I think that's key to weightloss.
Yes having plenty of salad, veg and fruit. Its not that I'm avoiding syns, just that the meals are filling me enough and I don't feel the need to have anything else. When we go for a meal at weekends it's usually an indian or pub grub so I can easily hit 60-70 syns. If I hardly have any syns through the week I don't feel overly guilty about my weekend indulgence.
I don't snack any more either which is where I would probably have accumulated syns in the past. I used to be terrible for pastries and donuts but I was never into crisps or chocolate in any great quantities. When I started my money-saving journey I realised how much I was spending on snacking so I just stopped. My downfall was (is) take away food. I still crave kebabs and pizza! You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

fatrab I notice you're having 40g of cheese today and sinning half of it but if it's low fat cheddar you can have 40g. If it's ordinary cheddar then you can have 30g so only need to syn 10g not 20g.
I think quite a lot of us on here use most of our syns at weekends! Myself & Maman included! No need to feel guilty about it just enjoy and damage limitation throughout the week.
You can still have kebab but choose a chicken kebab with salad and no pitta or you could still have the pitta and use your syns for it - that's what they're for so you can have extras like that.
Back later with my menu plan as need to go and start making my veg & lentil soup for lunch.

Playing it by the book, SW don't really encourage saving syns for weekends but loads of us do it. I've done it from Day 1. Like you fatrab, I'm of the mindset that I like to look forward to a weekend treat. I'm happy to eat syn free all week except for the odd bit of cornflour or cheese in recipes and syrup on my porage:D. SW seems to be based on the premise that everyone looks forward to a daily treat. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, just plod on. It's important that SW is sustainable alongside RL. IMO if you think of it as a diet then you'll go back to the habits that made you fat in the first place.
ETA: Cross posted with denise. We're on the same page!:D
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix, HEA milk, half banana
L: ham/fried egg (not decided), fried veg and beetrootbaked salmon, SW chips, tomatoes, mushrooms, green stuff (mange tout, broccoli)
Syns: NONE!0 -
Back with my SP plan for today now the the soup is nicely bubbling away!
B - porridge, raspberries
L - vegetable & brown lentil soup
D - beef & squash lasagne with swedes mash - squash being used instead of lasagne sheets. This is a recipe from the current magazine. 3 syns as using Bisto cheese sauce mix + a little parmesan.
HEA - milk in drinks
HEB1 - porridge
HEB2 - not sure but maybe some bread with my soup
Syns - as above

Another -2lb here please Chris!
What a few weeks. Top Baby is coming on leaps and bounds and running me ragged
B - Seriously strong cheese spread on toast (HEXA andand a pear
D - Potato, leek and bacon soup
T - Stir fry
A walk to the local shopping centre and back for BM (about a 50 min round trip) to check out the TU 25% off sale. Little folk grow fast.
Keep on keeping on everyone.0
