Maman you've just reminded me I've got quite a lot of portions of red cabbage in the freezer. Must get one our for tonight's dinner.

I suspect a lot our DHs do SW by default as we do most of the cooking, LOL! DH is a dab hand at SW fry up at the weekend!

  • Morning everyone

Well I didn't going running this morning which I strangely missed but in my defence I was in bed by 10pm last night so I decided my body needed the rest lol.

Quiet start to the day but have already been up to the tip getting rid of cardboard etc & am now cooking tonight's curry & tomorrow's chilli.

As for partners unofficially doing sw I think it's quite common...we've never been a couple to cook separate meals though hubby's only compliant sometimes is that the meal could do with more spices. Having said that if he wants a glass of wine & I don't then he's more than welcome to partake.

There was a change of plan for lunch! We decided it was just too warm for soup so that has now be frozen into 2 lots. Two more lunches for later in the year:money:.

We had a beef & salad sandwich, spread with LTL mayo (0.5 syn). This of course means I can't have a hifi this evening unless I syn it and I don't think I'm prepared to do that:rotfl:.

Hi all, I hope everyone is ok.

I am currently a stone over my target weight, but I had lost 2.25lb when I weighed myself yesterday morning (I still weigh every Saturday Morning).

Went to the hungry horse today for lunch and had a mixed grill and yesterday I pigged out on loads of crap, including Bombay mix when we were watching a film on Sky.

I need to get some more weight off for Christmas!

Am considering buying an airfryer, have been thinking about it for a while. Was thinking about getting a 1.2kg capacity (this would be for 2 adults & 2 teenagers), is this big enough do you think?

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday everyone. x

Hi all, that's me back from an indulgent week with the family 2 days out of 8 were SW friendly, but I wasn't in charge of the rest, lol.

I haven't read back and it's unlikely that I'll manage it. I had hoped to pop in while we were away but internet access was iffy at best.

    Off to bed now.

    Morning!

Lost another 1.5lbs on Saturday which I should be happy about, but I feel like I should've done better. I'm giving it 100% this week as I am aiming for 2lbs per week on average between now and Xmas, so I've got 2.5 to lose this week to stay on top of things

I'm 1.5lbs away from my 2 stone award and 5.5lbs away from my initial target (which I'd set at 14st 13lbs just because I wanted to see "14" on the scales instead of the 17.. that I started with!), but I'm going to change that to 14st as per my signature.

    Todays meals:
Breakfast - 40g Porridge and blueberries
Lunch - Chicken Nuggets from Fakeaway book with salad
Dinner - Burger in a bowl also from Fakeaway

I'm also considering an Air Fryer so would be grateful for any advice :)
You can have results or excuses, but not both.
Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

A 1.5lb loss is a good loss so worry it's not enough. I appreciate it's less than you wanted but not the end of the world. It's going the right way.

Are you using your syns every day? There aren't any in your plan for today, nor an HEA. You really need to use your syns - they are the 3rd part of the plan after the Free foods & Healthy Extras.

Good luck on losing what you want by Christmas.
