    Hi Denise,

Yes will use HEA with cheese on burger bowl tonight, I should have said that :)

No I don't really use all my syns during the week as like to enjoy my weekends, but being off drink at the moment I'm not using my allowance. Had a spot of semi skimmed in my porridge but will only use 20g cheddar tonight so even that balances out. I've got Hifi and Alpen bars at home if I do want a snack though.

Also made some Doner Kebab meat from the Fakeaway book so have that to nibble on with gherkins if the mood takes me.

    Thanks :)
You can have results or excuses, but not both.

Yesterday didn't go to plan - over syns again! Think I'll probably have to have absolutely minimal syns from today until Wednesday! Haven't actually totted it up yet but pretty certain it's going to be something like 1 syn a day, LOL!

Having a Green day today as definitely more filling than EE or SP days with the carbs!

B - 3 scrambled eggs with spinach on toast (HEB1)
L - jacket potato, beans, 30g cheese, may have some salad too but will see how I feel (HEA1)
D - vegetable biryani from freezer which I made a couple of weeks ago (syn free); Didn't have the jelly yesterday so will have today with quark & fruit but not the meringue (to save 1 syn, LOL)

    HEA1 - cheese
    HEA2 - milk for drinks
    HEB1 - bread
    HEB2 - Hifi bars
    Syns - jelly 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Weigh in tomorrow. I've been a bit quiet on this thread the last few days, I'll explain eventually when I get chance, just been dealing with some stuff.

Hope everyone had a good weekend :)
  • Hi. Just about to embark on SW. Do I have to join the forum or just join in!
  • Well, I know there was an element of jealousy that my consultant suggested upping my syns, but my god, is it painful! I currently feel like a beached whale and so uncomfortable, so I think I will revert to standard (she did say to try it for half the week & revert if I felt I couldn't do it) . I currently feel as if they have had an impact, but not in the way that I want, so am expecting bad news on Thursday & having to work even harder next week.

On the plus side, I have prepped for the week and sorted working around late nights, this evening I am doing a Jack the Ripper walk, so hopefully a 2 hour walk around the East End will impact favourably!
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Welcome St Cathy to the thread. You've already joined in the thread by posting!

Good luck with Slimming World. It's a great plan.

If you have any questions just ask, there's usually someone around who can answer most things. Many of us having been doing SW for years and also those of us who have been at target for a long time. I've been a target member for 6+ years but am struggling at the moment to get back into target range!

GTQ Sounds like we could do with each others consultants this week, LOL! I really haven't been able to stick to just 10 syns a day and have gone completely off the rails. Line drawn and damage limitation taking place from today until Wednesday but still expecting a gain unfortunately. Big damage done when we went to visit friends on Friday evening after finding out that my friend's husband has been diagnosed with cancer so the wine flowed and I think I was drinking just because she was and even enjoying it.

Welcome cathy. Good to have you along.:)

Sorry to hear that news denise. Hopefully treatment will be successful but I can see why your friend needed to unwind. That's RL sadly.:(

I did wonder where you'd got too Stoke. Catch up soon.:)

It is possible to have too few syns fatrab and then the body hangs on to fat as a survival thing. It could be any number of reasons why your weightloss has slowed a bit though. Are you having plenty of Speed veg and/or fruit? I think that's key to weightloss.

On the plus side, I have prepped for the week and sorted working around late nights, this evening I am doing a Jack the Ripper walk, so hopefully a 2 hour walk around the East End will impact favourably!

Friends bought me an experience voucher and that's what we've chosen! Haven't booked ours yet.:)

I don't think eating too many extra syns would work for me either although I do seem to be able to drink them.:o

Hoping that I've got a really good week ahead. No social occasions planned so I should be 100% in control. Started well as DH actually weighed the porage oats.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk, half banana
L: ham, beetroot, gherkins, fried LO veg
D: gammon slices, white cabbage, tomatoes, mushrooms, new potatoes
Syns: 2.5 syrup, possibly some mustard
