That's brilliant news Stoke. Absolutely delighted for you.:T:T:T

If I were you I'd just carry on with the plan much as you're doing now and then you'll have extra syns for drowning your sorrows and comfort eating at weekends!:rotfl:

:TGood loss v1cky and planning is a great idea to get you through the week. It's worth planning some snacky bits for the fridge too like chicken legs or whatever you enjoy. Last night I had thin ham rolled round spring onions!

I'm doing a chicken casserole for this evening. I'll use chicken breast as I've got so many in the freezer but I really prefer thighs for the recipe, far more tasty.

DH is still trying;). He has made a few tweaks and he says he feels better. We don't have scales so he'll just be using his belt and trouser waistline to tell him if he's successful.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk, half banana
L: veggie omelette with beetroot, cottage cheese and ham
D: chicken casserole with new potatoes, cauli and broccoli
Syns: 2? for syrup, 1 for cornflour

That's brilliant Stoke. I was doing really well at target until they bought that book out recently and since then my weight has been up and not coming down! Really wish I'd just carried on doing what I was doing.

Haven't managed to stick to the 10 syns my consultant suggested so not really expecting a loss this week again. Probably won't be going to group next week so unless I get a loss to get back into target this week I'll have to book holiday for that. We're going away in the van for the weekend - wish we'd done it this week but had too many appointments to get away this week.

As for savvy syns Stoke things like avocado, olive oil, nuts etc. Most of the savvy syns are what used to be HEBs back in the days of Red & Green days!

Sorry to hear you're not feeling too well today GTQ. Hope you feel better son.

Been on plan today but syns will be higher than I wanted but have a cauliflower which needs using up so it's cauliflower cheese & chips for dinner tonight.

B - bacon & mushroom sandwich - 5 syns for bread; 2 syns for butter
L - beef & salad, HM spicy coleslaw in WW wrap (HEB)
D - cauliflower cheese, chips - 4 syns for cheese sauce granules

    HEA - 350ml skimmed milk
    HEB - WW wrap
    Syns - 2 slices Hovis 400g bread 5; butter 2; 4 tsp Bisto cheese sauce granules 4 syns = 11 syns.

It's a really nice bit of news after a tough couple of weeks. It was a somewhat quiet award as my consultant was unwell so a temp was in, but I think I prefer that to the bouquet of flowers the last person got :D I've had the chat about 'routes' and I've been told I should be on C. I suspect I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing but add some more Hex B's in and perhaps a few more syns. I'll have to get back to measuring again though. That said, I don't eat that many syns now, so it's quite tricky to see where I can add them, but I need to read up on Savvy syns apparently lol. I'll also see how I get on before lowering it again ;)

Thanks for all your support everyone :) This thread really is wonderful :)

    Way to go Stoke!

    Well done !!

Well done all other losers and congrats vicki on SOTW.

The little that crept on last week seems to have crept off again for the time being, which I'm happy about.
