SarahC74 a 2lb gain isn't too bad for a holiday at all particularly as it's so difficult for you to eat out. You'll soon lose that - what goes on quickly usually comes off quickly!

Maman we had a lovely day yesterday and for the first time didn't eat out! I was also very good in the evening and was sat drinking tea while DH sat drinking red wine! But I'd decided earlier in the day that as I'd had all my syns I wasn't going to add to it as have been over most days whilst away! Will try and up the Speed foods significantly when we get home as definitely not had as much as usual.

Good luck Vixstar on getting your 2 stone award next week.

Not sure what we're doing today so have only planned Breakfast and Dinner again!

B - fry up with bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans
    L - tea
D - savoury mince with spaghetti - sort of spaghetti bolognaise. There is plenty of Speed in the savoury mince but probably not any on the side as I've only got cabbage left which I'm not too keen on with pasta!

    HEA - milk
HEB - possibly use at lunchtime, if not I'll have some crackers this evening
Syns - butter if I have crackers, wine

We will just draw a veil over my lovely lunch.

What matters is that you enjoyed it. One thing I really hate and that's wasting syns.

Denise is right Sarah, your holiday gain is tiny. I know some people go all out to get to target but the scenic route, taking detours for holidays and events, is just as successful. Personally I think it's more realistic as it can be sustained long term. Each to his own, but I think if you tell yourself you're on a diet then there'll come a time when you come off the 'diet' and go back to 'normal'. I'm sure that's why so many people lose weight and then put it all back on again. I'm determined NOT to be one of them!:D

It's a miserable, wet day here. I've taken some mince out of the freezer to defrost and I'll do some savoury mince later. I'm fancying cottage pie so it'll be useful to have to hand for more days like this.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB overnight oats with red berries, HEA milk for drinks
    L: veggie omelette with pickles
D: burger, fried onions, patatas bravas, tomatoes, mushrooms, asparagus and other green stuff
    Syns: burger 1? weekend wine.:)

Afternoon all (morning for me :o)

Well after a VERY stressful week which ended in exclusion and a panic attack I went to Dr and have more meds (antidepressants :() and have to have more blood tests :(.

The good news is WI (drum roll please!) a LOSS OF 2.8LB! am amazed :D

New meds have wiped me out and I feel like crap but hopefully will help in the long run. The downside is I’ve had them before and they made me gain weight :( will have to try REALLY hard to contain myself.
Anyway for now I’m going to enjoy that loss :rotfl:

Maman, just to let you know my school have been amazing, have had massive support from colleagues! Had a very good chat with head who apologised for his nibs even though it’s no ones fault as such. Had a good chat with sendco and she also messaged me in the evening to see how I was :T. So I take back all my moaning and am feeling thankful :p. We have a big meeting on Monday and head will be pushing for us not being the right environment so watch this space.

Have a good weekend all :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • So sorry TIE you're still having a hard time at work - though it sounds you're finally getting the support you need, that must be small comfort when you're actually dealing with the situation

WI today saw - 1.5 lbs which I was pleased with so I'm guessing swimming is back on the menu.

We have visitors tonight so body magic has also resulted in a clean (for once) house.

Have a good Saturday every one

Well done on your losses TIE and GTS.

Sounds as though you're getting a bit more support from your colleagues and head at last TIE. Hope everything gets even better.

Not sure what happened to my menu plan as I actually put "tbc" not tea! Actually went to an Indian restaurant which also had Himalayan dishes on the menu. I had a Himalayan lamb shank & chickpea curry. It was lovely if a tad hot! Didn't eat very much of my rice as there was just so much curry to enjoy! We also shared a bottle of wine so syns gone again for today! But may still have a glass or two this evening if I feel like it!

That's a great loss tie and, you too, gts.:T

Thanks for the update tie. I'm sorry that it had to come to this for you to get some support. They were right to apologise. Of course they can't be responsible for his nibs having a meltdown but they have a duty of care to you and letting you soldier on your own was wrong. Of course you should have been nagging them to death to do something more to support you and him but that's just my opinion!:D Keep at them!

That sounds like a good meal denise. You need something hot on such a miserable day. When do you get back?:)

I popped out to Home Bargains and picked up some Sharwoods noodles. I tried a pack a couple of weeks ago and they didn't go soggy like others I've tried so now I can have syn free noodles (was using straight to wok before).
