We were out and about this morning. We went to the Garlic Farm - have bought some seed garlic to grow for next year. Just hope they grow OK, last time I tried they grew OK but when lifting them out of the compost the cloves just fell away as they hadn't grown the outer covering!

After that we went to a gin distillery and had tasters of Mermaid Gin (the Isle of Wight gin); a navy strength gin (57 rather than the normal 42); rum & vodka! Had a rum and ginger beer after the tasters, only problem they didn't have any diet ginger beer so 10 syns wasted there (I drunk what was left after I'd had the rum!) wasn't going to waste it.

Came back to the cottage and had lunch which was roast beef & salad so at least my food's SW friendly but have used all my syns for today!

You're obviously doing something right pixielottie but how do you manage to shop for SW friendly stuff if you don't have a plan?

Fussy eaters :o we buy roughly the same stuff each week, and just make different things with it :) . My theory is thats why my weight loss has been so slow, because such a large portion of my meals haven't actually changed lol.

I sort of didn't stick to what was planned toda... Had my yummy crumpets, but didn't get back till 3pm, so ended up skipping lunch, and someone forgot to turn the slow cooker on, so pulled pork is tomorrow, had pizza chicken, with salad.

Sounds like you've had a lovely day denise . I think it just proves how flexible SW can be. I think it's worth being really focused getting to target then you can maintain by fitting it in with RL :)
  • :T totally clapping myself, had that its Friday night... maybe I should have some biscuits moment and got an apple and a peach instead :) :T

Hope everyone has a fun packed weekend planned.....if you do please think of Cinderella here lol?

Well after months of procrastinating I finally went swimming tonight & enjoyed it....I even found my earphones which, after turning the house inside down, found them by the side of the sofa....which just goes to prove how little housework I do lol.

The one bit of excitement was that I almost got locked in at the leisure centre....as I was walking out of the changing room the manager walked in & was shocked to see me & admitted he wasn't expecting to see me....I did wonder how long it would have been before hubby wondered where I was.

    Hoping for good things tomorrow

Hi all, well I had a wonderful holiday on the Scillys. The weather was amazing and we walked a good 10 miles or more most days. Unfortunately being dairy free and eating out did really limit what I could choose so it’s no surprise that with the amount of chips I had I’ve put on 2lb. It’s just a blip but I’m a bit annoyed as I was so close to my 2 stones loss ☹️ Ah well, it was amazing and I’ll still get there, just more slowly. Not sure about the Halloween challenge though we shall see.

We done to all the loosers. Here’s to us all loosing, maintaining or whatever we want next week! Have a great weekend all
