Have I missed something? Ignoring that it is not SW, but why is it a good idea to cook something overnight that can be done in 10 mins?
A smile costs little but creates much :)

4lbs off!! I am over the moon. Just 3lbs until I reach target. Mad to think I could even get target next week.

ruddy hell Stoke can you send me your meal plan for last week pretty please ???

Having a relatively good week....been going to work on the train which means a 20 minute (well 40 minute really as the dog comes with me & he likes to sniff) walk to & from the station, gave the dog an extra long walk yesterday as hubby was out. Even food has been relatively on plan....made a chilli for tonight's tea so will have that with a baked potato if we get home early enough or failing that rice.

I'm also definitely going to go swimming on Friday - the only fly in that ointment is that I can't find my headphones ....it's been so long that I've been that I have no idea where they are!

Delighted for you Stoke and you too v1cky!:T:T

Good to see you back gigglinggoat. I love Italy so I'm sure the gain is worth it.:)

Football chat can be very relevant to SW;). It's too easy to succumb to the rubbish food they sell at grounds, comfort eat to cope with losses or drink to celebrate. All of those things can sabotage weightloss. I've been saintly (pun intended) and substituted my half time Crunchie for a satsuma!

The official SW line on maintaining is to have a few more HEXs but to me that's far too boring unless you're desperate for cheese or more bread. I'm definitely with denise in allowing yourself more syns but it's a huge balancing act. If it was me Stoke I might get to target, maintain for a bit and then have a rethink in January after you've lost any Christmas gains. :)

All I can think of with that recipe gtq is that people are so desperate to save time in the morning that they want something ready.

I decided to cook up some veg this morning rather than wait for LOs. I did potato, carrots, onion and leek. really looking forward to my lunch.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix, HEA milk, half banana
L: ham, fried eggs, bubble & squeak, beetroot
    D: SW tagliatelle Bolognese
    Syns: maybe Parmesan 2

Very well done Stoke! Re your weekend, I always lost more when I'd had fish and chips - no idea why! Doesn't do to analyse it too much...I'll look forward to your weigh in next week.

Well done all the other losers - some great progress!

I'm still maintaining at between 2-4lbs under my target, though I had my first rubbish day for a while yesterday - I should not be allowed within 100 yards of biscuits! Making up for it today and tomorrow with very low syns and lots and lots of speed.

Good luck those still to weigh in this week.

I'm with everyone else Stoke, call target when you get where you originally said and then see how things go. I'd stick with it for a while, perhaps as Maman says until after Christmas and then if you want to lose more you can just reduce your target bearing in mind it has to be by at least 1/2 stone.

Have used all my syns for today already so there'll be no wine for me this evening!

B - bacon, egg & beans (have run out of mushrooms & tomatoes)
L - halloumi (HEA + 5.5); grilled vegetables; boiled potatoes & salad; glass of wine 7
D - roasted aubergine, courgette, potatoes, garlic, onion, chicken with cabbage on the side

    HEA - halloumi
    HEB - still to have
    Syns - halloumi 5.5; wine 5 200ml skimmed milk 5

    Congratulations Stoke and V1ckyt!!

I think there's been a change in thought re extra syns once at target, can't remember it all (still a way to go) but depending on your speed of loss beforehand you can have up to 10 extra syns on 2,3 or 4 days a week (I think). There's a new book for target members.

Right going to go back to trying to figure out which teams everyone's talking about...think I've just about worked out who Stoke supports!

Thanks, beanie, I’m ever hopeful! Fifers on Saturday, so I hope we don’t fall out, lol. At least it’ll be a friend with the bragging rights. Hope you’re doing ok. How are your kitties?

    Brilliant loss, SIRENS.

I’m watching your game, tweets, and I must say it’s pretty dire. No doubt you’ll score now from this free kick ……. Oh no, straight into the wall.

Hope you got your result at WI, Stoke.

I nearly feel asleep watching the match :o:(

Really? I'll ask about that when I go to my next WI.:)

Just realised I got mine a couple of weeks ago after my French holiday but only had time for a quick glance through it. Will have to have a proper read when I get back home.

There are completely new books coming out in December to replace the current ones. I think it's mainly because of the large number of syn changes! It is not going to be a new plan though (thankfully, there's been enough changes over the years!).

    Evening,

I have had three days of being good.... except when a slice of spicy tomato/garlic bread on Monday night.... I swear it jumped in my mouth!

    Todays diet

    Breakfast

    Quark
    fruit
    all bran

    lunch

    2 carrots
    2 pears
    3 tomato

    tea

stew with lots of speed, and broccoli and carrots on the side.

I eventually got on the scales....;-((((((( 186.2 OMG! so 2.8 gain... hence some motivation returning!
