  • Thanks, beanie. It’s just that every time I join the challenge I seem to put weight on!

    That’s a magic loss, v1ckyt.

    Hiya, tessie bear.

At least it’s a loss, gtq!

Today has been ok, just that. Roll on tomorrow.

So today will be the first full day on plan after my month's holiday. Ended on 30 syns yesterday but could have been worse! Obviously will keep track of syns over the week as usual (Thursday is my normal WI day so was the start of a new week).

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB)
    L - 2 pea soup
D - sea bass with tomatoes, fennel & bacon; boiled potatoes, cabbage, broccoli

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but that will probably change:rotfl:

Although the weather is awful with the wind it was brilliant yesterday afternoon as I was able to wash & dry 3 machine loads of washing. I've done another load this morning and hung it out with another load in the machine. That will be all the clothes, towels, tea towels etc. Only have the bedding to do after this load but think that may have to wait another day as fed up with washing now.

Keep safe everyone in these high winds.

    Morning all.

    STS for me.
Amazing really as I had 2 binge nights on my own, which is really bad.
The cold is not suiting me at all, I'm craving all the wrong things.

Need to get organised with meal plans.

    Morning all,

Hope all survived the battering by the wind unscathed.

First challenge for me today since starting slimming world three weeks ago, out to Prezz0 for a family meal to celebrate parents Golden Wedding anniversary.
I will be on plan all day up t going out, and will go for a pasta in tomato based sauce, possibly the spicy prawn one going from memory, but pudding and cake avoidance may be an issue, will try to stay free food all day, and use Syns for ice cream possibly.

    have a good day all,
    Vicky

    Morning everyone!

I haven't read back yet so will just say well done to all the losers, commiserations gainers and welcome any newbies to this lovely thread.

Back from hols with a little gain (3/4 lb) which I'm fine with. We walked and swam a lot which kept the damage down as I didn't pay much attention to what I was eating! I've been hovering 2-4lb under my target weight for a while now and haven't been over in 6 months so I think I've got the maintaining bit right for me.

I'll be back when I've caught up with the thread.
  • +0.5lb for me this week. Not to worried about it as I think its due to not being able to out exercise a large pie and chips and beer!

I wonder if this will take off in the UK and whether it'll be heavily syn'd or what....
  • +1 for me - more than fine with that, 3 birthdays the week before, and star week just started!
(Which has thrown today off a bit, I'm on 12syns already >.< I don't know if it's an age thing but the last few months, the first day I'm a write off, I swing from nausea to hungry, to crippling pain, I'm so glad I'm self employed!)

I have a meal planned for 13th Oct friends 30th, and a Christmas meal with friends 8th Dec, but other than that it's a clear diary for the rest of the year. Does anyone else feel like a clear diary gives them hope? or am I totally weird ? lol!

I do need to pick your brains though please, I'm an artist, so I'm going into my businest time of the year getting ready for Christmas fayres. I got into the bad habbits of picking at sweets while working to deadlines when I was at uni, can anyone suggest any syn free, clean ( I work with paper) finger food I an pick at ? :/ can be Savory or sweet, but I don't like grapes! x
anything's possible if you've got enough nerve
