Yes muller, tinned spaghetti and instant mash all syns, well i am a rebel had spaghetti for tea and will be having a muller later:p hasnt harmed me so i will carry on as i were:rotfl::rotfl:

Group used to be GREAT and really motivational. But now it's just as flat as a pancake. The last image therapy class I stayed to was just awful. I don't go anymore but I would like to go back because I do miss some aspects of it. I.e. weighing on "proper scales" would be somewhat motivational.0 -

That would be dinner. In the morning I would eat bran flakes and for lunch sardines on toast.
If that's all you're going to eat every day from now until end of October then probably not, your body will probably go into starvatio mode.
Like SSM said where is your fruit and veg. Also not enough fibre or calcium.
If you seriosly want to lose weight then read the first post and follow it properly.

Weigh in tonight. I am really really looking forward to it. I know I've had a better week than usual, so fingers crossed. In fact, I've possibly had one of the best weeks since starting SW. I stayed pretty much 100% on plan for the entire 7 days, partly out of discipline and partly out of luck. Very few syns consumed at all really.
Saturday evening, was a bit manic and I would have normally under the circumstances, grabbed some fast food or a crappy takeaway. Instead, I stayed at my parents house (as I needed to drop some stuff with them) and they had some chicken stew left, so I pinched that.
Saturday, I went to the Stoke away game, but wasn't drinking like normal and I didn't eat anything particularly unhealthy (probably because I wasn't drunk). Worst thing I had was a ham sandwich on white bread from the train station, which I could probably syn but I doubt I need too. I ended the night playing a 2 hour gig which will have burnt some calories.
Sunday was a bit like Saturday really. Didn't drink all day. Had a full English breakfast but I did another 2 hour gig in the evening.
So all in all, I'm hoping for another 2 or 3lbs off. I believe (and I don't want to get ahead of myself here) that would leave me very close to my target for this 'period'. I think I said 7lbs and if I lose 3lbs that would have me at 6lbs

But did you have enough syns for the week Stoke? You can end up not losing if you don't eat enough, including the syns.

Denise is right Stoke. That's why I posted last night about calling SW a 'diet'. IIRC, the words syn is short for synchronise. Which means that treats and all the healthy things should be taken together. It's not sin as in it's bad for us. I'm sure you will lose but think of it like having a week of SP. It's a week to hurry you to your target not normal, healthy eating.FE, is there a different group you could go to as they are all different. Might help with the motivation issue.

I think most groups can get a bit samey in time, that's the nature of SW, it's formulaic and, to an extent, it's supposed to be the same wherever you go. The best consultants can organise good discussions but IMO they are few and far between. Many just follow the 'script' which can be very boring. If you think that going each week to use the accurate scales and either doing weigh and go or just sitting through the happy clappy stuff will help you then it's worth it FE. I got to target in about 10 months. If someone had said to me 'will you give me £200 if you could lose 3.5 stone?' I'd have bitten their hand off! (pun intended;)). That was 7 years ago, and they've not got rich on what I've paid them since.:D
Today is an oasis of SW here among all the birthday meals.:D
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix, HEA milk, banana
L: JP with cottage cheese, spring onion and beetrootbaked cod, SW chips, cauli steak, runner beans, mushrooms and tomatoes

If you read the first post you'll see it says 5-15 syns daily (think it's 20 for men). My consultant says you should have at least 5 syns daily. But like Maman I use my syns weekly but still try to have at least a few syns each day.
You may have noticed that quite often on a Monday when I post I put something along tbe lines of 'have 24 syns left so 8 syns a day until WI on Thursday morning!'

Maman our group has good discussions and laughs, she does not go round everyone like they are supposed too, i couldnt stop if like that, she does ask if anyone wants to share the loss, gain etc or if anyone is struggling we all give ideasThe group i went too in January if mine was like that i wouldnt stop:rotfl:

I'll start trying to introduce a few more syns. Ironically enough, I've got to the point of enjoying free food more than syn food. One of the reasons I rarely have them.0

Just like I told you today that you really should have syns Stoke then said I was having NONE! That's because I always save mine and this week I've probably used them up (and more) on meals and drinks out. Good luck for tonight!0
