Wow, some amazing losses this week, well done everyone.
Best foot forward for me this week, made some veg soup yesterday, so that is lunch for today.
For the first time ever, I used my air fryer yesterday, now understand why everyone likes it, but my only complaint about it is that it is huge, will only be able to store on tops of cupboards, which means a faffe to use
Had a bit of bad news yesterday, an outlaw (her sister was married to my uncle) was sadly killed instantly when hit by a car on Saturday. We had concerns for her for some time now and were uncomfortable about her driving, but there was nothing we could do about it. Not sure what happened, but there are new road layouts & new motorway route where she lives & we think she may have got confused and got out of the car to work out where she was, may never know, but just hope that the driver of the car is ok & gets through it.
Have a good week everyone.A smile costs little but creates much0 -
Oh, that's dreadful news about your out-law. So sad.
Just seen the news that SW are again synning previously Syn free stuf like muller lights, smash and tinned spaghetti. I never really ate those items but I know plenty members do. Expect an uprising.0 -
Hope everyone has had a good weekend

You're right midge. It won't affect me personally because I don't eat any of those products but I've always thought SW was in league with Mullers. Some people eat loads of them.:(Sunflower1227 wrote: »Hi could you please put up a pic of the recipe for both of these, Thank you
Yes please pixielottie. I'd like the pasta recipe, it'll make a change from Bolognese.:)
Sounds like a good poireaux harvest this year denise.:) When do you get back?
Another day, another meal out for me. Today is DGD's birthday and she's chosen to go to TGI Fridays. Not my favourite restaurant but hopefully I'll find something on the menu to suit. IIRC everything seems to be 'smothered' in sauces.:(
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix, HEA milk, pear and banana
L: LO beef casserole with vegtbc

Back home Thursday afternoon so will have a week before WI, although if it looks like I’m out of target may give it a miss as have a week booked on the Isle of Wight 1st week of October so will miss that week as well! Will get back on plan from Thursday evening - planning on making HB braised steak and onions.
Ended up having museli for breakfast and the fry up for lunch. Also found 1/2 pack of lean bacon lardons in the fridge so chucked that in too.
Have decided on steak hache (5% fat); onions and salad. May also have a slice of cheese on top as not drinking as much tea as usual so not having full HEA.

For the first time in two years, it looks like we'll be at home for Christmas so I'm gearing up to 'stocking up for Christmas' mode.
At the moment Tesco have a 2 for £7 offer on their Christmas chocolate tubs.
I know if I buy them then I'll have to hide them away but I'LL KNOW THEYRE IN THE HOUSE.....ALONG WITH THE WINE I BOUGHT WHEN WINE WAS ON OFFER lol.
Takes all the patience of a saint not to tell hubby where they are as otherwise he nag for them
Thing like that I buy then give to my Mum to keep at hers til Christmas, because, apart from the cats, no one in this house can be trusted around copious amounts of chocolate'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess
