Good luck ATB - you're going to be amazing!!
I have a long list of things to do today, much of which I suspect may not get done...ah well, it will still be there tomorrow!
We also have a party to attend, so I must get an appropriate pressie and card this morning, together with trainers for Small and a rucksack...
Catch you all later x0 -
atypicalblonde wrote: »Yes YL today is my first day, thank you for remembering xx I am beyond anxious. First "proper" day in the workplace in almost 5 years. My hair has been straightened and make up will be applied as soon as I've made my salad. I will report back later; I know first days are always the worst.
No-one in work seems to remember just how daunting first days are. As a long term temp (years, decades, ago) I realised that if I turned up on time and smiled a lot, pretty much everyone was fairly welcoming and kind but it was a hard act in the early assignments. You'll be fine - they need the work done, you're helping them out and you'll be on top of it in a flash. And *healing vibes* for your DS.
It's our 25th anniversary today. Flying is on hold.Better is good enough.0 -
I think im going to have a crazy busy week, I washed my dishes before work though and I took the 4 pairs of shoes up that shouldn’t of been downstairs. I hope this continues, tonight id like to sort my cupboard under the stairs, be ruthless and chuck stuff out!0

Thanks for this weeks lists..
I am forever lurking and doing, just don't post all that often....
Well, I really am in for this week.. It may be a bit backward in style but I'm still in!
No work for 9 days:eek::D;) so have decided to make a real effort to declutter and clean more than the usual S/S and occasional purge..
This morning began with pulling up all the old carpet & rotting underlay (previous tenant had a a doggy who used the whole house as a loo!!!) on the landing and stairs.. 40,000 staples also removed  and it all got vacuumed ready for the new to be laid this evening :j Bathroom vinyl and front entrance carpet have also been removed and areas cleaned, they too are being replaced this evening.:j
In between I've made breakfast baguettes for the boys as a last day before college starts treat, cleaned up the kitchen, vacuumed everywhere and put out the bin (food & normal) Taken all carpet n yuck to the tip, tidied back garden and watered pots. Need to quickly S/S the bathroom before fitter arrives so it smells ok..
Ooh I've done more today than I thought"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇0 -

Hello everyone.
ATB, hope today went well.
Valli, don't worry about post 2. I'm still heavier and poorer than when I started.
HB, happy anniversary.
Kaz, softball was a one off for a charity day. It's just rounders and the ball is really hard particularly when it hits you.
My day has consisted of getting 6 loads of washing done, sorting rubbish, going to the dentist, changing bedding and cutting the back grass.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
