An interesting suggestion but it's hardly automated as you have to login to Amazon twice every month and click a few buttons. It probably takes about the same time as just doing 8 debit card transactions to pay credit card/savings account etc.1 -

Still worth it if you'd otherwise miss the £3.

Anyone received the £5 reward yet? I think it's normally paid on the first working day of the month but I could be wrong.
I took a closer look at my 8 debit card "purchases" for September and noticed they have been automatically categorised by Dankse as a mixture of "cash withdrawal" and "uncategorised" so I am not sure that I will receive the reward bonus.
On the plus side, it's another account I can close/switch and remove from my banking admin duties.0 -

Not sure about your DC categorisation - mine is showing cash w/d & 'other expense', but they don't pay the reward on non working days - ie May 1 was a Sunday and the reward was paid on the 3rd. On that benchmark it would be the 4th this month, but maybe today.1 -
£5 reward now received!
This means that 8 small payments towards a credit card balance does qualify for the reward0 -
Received mine too, same type of transactions too.0
